Love the network path visualization
This product is very easy to implement and manage. Their customer support has also been very helpful.
PROSThe network path visualization help a lot with identifying whether there is an issue on the internet versus our company's infrastructure. Their customer support is also top notch and super responsive to any questions I've had.
CONSWould really like to see more alerting options around the enterprise agents themselves.
Reasons for switching to ThousandEyes
We didn't actually switch, but we added ThousandEyes in addition to Pingdom to have a monitoring tool that was more customizable and gave us more information.

ThousandEyes
it's decent. It could be a bit much at first and need a bit to get used to.
PROSIt's a very nice network monitoring tools, it helps looking at our network performance and report issues.
CONSIt does take some time to get the dashboard to set up, but that's pretty much true for all monitoring tools

Useful network monitoring tool
Thousand Eyes has been a useful addition to our troubleshooting tools and I look forward to implementing further tests and agents.
PROSThousandEyes has proved to be a useful tool to check uptime and latency between different locations and endpoints. The graphical dashboard and point to point traffic view is excellent for troubleshooting.
CONSThousand Eyes looks to be a good product and I'm excited to use more of the features. The pricing structure and management can be confusing and difficult to get head around at first.

Barely noticeable
ThousandEyes is barely noticeable on your computer and barely uses any of the resources. You will hardly ever notice it constantly running in the background unless you see it in the task bar panel.
CONSWhen it was first installed, our company made no announcement and so many of us were startled when we saw a suspicious creepy orange eye appear on our computer taskbar. It looks like a creepy spyware symbol. The company forum was filled with concerns that spyware had been installed. It was resolved when the company posted about the ThousandEyes installation. Occasionally I still get slightly alarmed when I see a bright orange eye appear on the bottom right corner of my screen. I really would recommend changing their logo. The combination of the creepy eye logo and company name "ThousandEyes" really should be reevaluated.
