Pros/Cons
Pros
- The cost is very affordable compared to other products. The customer service and technical support are outstanding.
- I enjoyed the fact that it was user friendly. I enjoyed the affordable monthly fees based of organization size.
- Especially pricing and quality, also the vendor's after service is very nice so I think we are very satisfied with this product.
Cons
- I struggled to get a functional income statement by fund. Also, tracking purposes for audits, it didn't really track unrestricted, temp restricted, or perm restricted very well.
- I hate that I have reconnect my bank account on a monthly basis.
- I also find reporting to be a bit confusing. It is not intuitive...it sometimes takes several steps (that are not obvious) to get the report I need.
Pros
- Overall I have loved my experience with Avid. I have used a plethora of AP processing platforms and by far Avid has been the most reliable and easy to use platform.
- I think the software is great and would recommend it especially to other property managers who would like to add speed and efficiency to their organization.
- I love that it integrates with many related solutions and it’s super simple to use the software.
Cons
- It would often take up to a week to receive a response that they were completing the stop payment, and when a check is lost you want the payment stopped immediately.
- I feel sometimes the processors are in a hurry and mistype a vendor name or a campus location which creates an error on our end that we have to correct.
- As far as we know, there is no way to change that default.
