  • Pros

  • The cost is very affordable compared to other products. The customer service and technical support are outstanding.
  • I enjoyed the fact that it was user friendly. I enjoyed the affordable monthly fees based of organization size.
  • Especially pricing and quality, also the vendor's after service is very nice so I think we are very satisfied with this product.
  • Cons

  • I struggled to get a functional income statement by fund. Also, tracking purposes for audits, it didn't really track unrestricted, temp restricted, or perm restricted very well.
  • I hate that I have reconnect my bank account on a monthly basis.
  • I also find reporting to be a bit confusing. It is not intuitive...it sometimes takes several steps (that are not obvious) to get the report I need.

  • I love that you can access the software via the internet at anytime instead of having to be on the church's network. The phone app is awesome and we truly love it as a staff.
  • My overall experience has been great. It is so much better than the previous iteration, much more user friendly and visually appealing.
  • I think that Shelby Next has helped to solve people from "falling through the cracks. I am thankful for any tool that helps us reach our community more effectively.
  • Cons

  • Having to "show all" or next page is also a problem. Starting all over when you are checking attendance is a problem.
  • We've had several instances where when problems arose, customer service reps were just as perplexed with the issue.
  • The software can be difficult to navigate and can suffer from performance issues depending on the ammount of users logged in at a time.
