Pros:

Callhub is great for making calls and sending out text messages to large lists of contact ID's. It serves the purpose of what it was ment to do. Great costumer support.

Cons:

The text replies that are saved when creating a peer to peer campaign need to be very short in order to be ssm and many times the text replies that the org has need to be longer.

The cost and features such as broadcast messaging and being able to make calls from the tool, prompt only allowed messages.

I find CallHub to a useful application for telephonic campaigns. I’m currently using it for a project I’m working on with a nonprofit organization. I’ve been able make contact with my target demographic successfully using this tool.

Pros:

CallHub is a great tool to use for outreach campaigns. You’re able to contact a large segment of your target population rather quickly. It also has a function that allows you to practice making the outbound calls prior to using it in a live scenario.

Cons:

I am new to user, so I’m still getting acclimated to using CallHub. I noticed a dial pad to call out, but I didn’t notice a button to place the outbound calls once the phone number has been entered if I am trying to reach someone in particular. The system automatically places the calls to the population you’re looking to reach though.

Pros:

It's a great platform and I love that you guys keep improving it. I was really excited when I saw the mobile app for agents brought online.

Cons:

When you are creating a campaign, then realize that you haven't yet uploaded the new contact list or the voicemail file or added the mew agent, you have to migrate away from your current screen. You have to almost start over creating the campaign. There should be an autosave that allows a campaign in progress, to save. And you should be able to upload other assets while creating a campaign. The mobile app for agents needs to be improved.

Reasons for choosing CallHub

I don't understand Twilio. It requires more of a learning curve than I am willing to invest.

Reasons for switching to CallHub

The NGP VAN political platform does not have the full suite of services that I needed, it's not very intuitive and there is a lot less flexibility in how you work on projects.

Overall, I find CallHub fairly predictable, even when it's not working. I did find the glitches when I was making patch-through calls especially frustrating. Overall I do like its simplicity.

I generally like the app that allows me to use CallHub from my phone, which makes campaigning and other calls feel more natural.

Cons:

I found that it can be quite glitchy, and a few times it would freeze at awkward moments. I also found that it needs to be restarted regularly to keep it working well.

Apparently, it doesn't work with Microsoft Edge. Most people use Chrome, but it should be acknowledged especially before you get on to use it for the first time.

The program is very easy to use and doesn't take long to adapt. The script and drop down menu's for how the calls went were amazing for recording results.

It continuously crashed between calls. Had to repeatedly close and reopen the tab to make it work.
