Pros/Cons
Pros
- Overall, my experience with Canada Helps has been positive. It is a great system with many tools to help us with our events, fundraising and operations.
- I find that they are amazing at helping you navigate the system, and they get back to you very quickly. I like how easy it is to use the system and keep track of all of the donations and donors.
- The great things about this software are the donation forms, emails can be sent out of DMS (individual and groups), the ease of batch adding contributions and issuing tax receipts.
Cons
- What this means is you have to generate multiple reports then do the analysis yourself. I regret having leased this system.
- Pulling reports is brutal. Rather than allow you full access to all critical fields, they decide which ones you can and can't access.
- It can be difficult to customize reports and the information I have to sift through is very extensive.
Pros
- The Monday.com platform is excellent in these areas, so for me it seems like an excellent choice.
- What I liked most about Monday is that it is super user friendly. Synchs to user emails to ensure messages/updates are received.
- User friendly and provides a great level of control for managers and supervisors. The progress tracking is also a great reduction in time for managers.
Cons
- They shut down our free trial on us with no notice and we lost all our data for over 2 months. Customer service was horrific and gave us the run around.
- The only downside I have encountered was probably use error, wherein I set up 2 logins by accident.
- It's really difficult to consider anything I loathed in slack. It generally appears to figure, it doesn't have the conveyance issues Teams do.
