  • Pros

  • Overall, my experience with Canada Helps has been positive. It is a great system with many tools to help us with our events, fundraising and operations.
  • I find that they are amazing at helping you navigate the system, and they get back to you very quickly. I like how easy it is to use the system and keep track of all of the donations and donors.
  • The great things about this software are the donation forms, emails can be sent out of DMS (individual and groups), the ease of batch adding contributions and issuing tax receipts.
  • Cons

  • What this means is you have to generate multiple reports then do the analysis yourself. I regret having leased this system.
  • Pulling reports is brutal. Rather than allow you full access to all critical fields, they decide which ones you can and can't access.
  • It can be difficult to customize reports and the information I have to sift through is very extensive.

  • The best part about QuickBooks was that it was online and we had the ability to work even though we were not on the office premises and it allowed us to work efficiently and effectively.
  • Help section is great and very informative. We use the reports feature a lot, and it is awesome to have so many reports to choose from to analyze how our business is doing financially.
  • I love that you can manage your personal and buianess finnances with ease and you have help through out the entire process.
  • Cons

  • If you switch from the online version to the desktop version, it can be difficult. Also, the data is not automatically backed up so you have a risk of losing your data.
  • It can be a pain when you make a mistake and try to fix it. For some things, there are too many steps to fix the mistake.
  • I don’t think there are any missing features or anything that I dislike about this software.
