Pros/Cons
Pros
- Everything was tracked in a very user-friendly and simple way. I was impressed with what it did, understanding that it would be best for more simple operations.
- Again, their Customer Support is the best I have ever experienced with a software solution. They are responsive and teach you "how to fish" instead of "fishing" for you.
- DonorPerfect has some good capabilities and is highly customizable. The software does a good job of tracking donors and volunteers and a decent job of tracking memberships.
Cons
- I find it difficult to run reports. There are a lot of upgrade features that you have to pay.
- Difficult to figure out all the reporting features.
- One aspect of the software that makes it a little difficult to use are the phrasings that are used as descriptors.
Pros
- We love our website and feel like our membership appreciates the look and ease of use on the front end of the site. We appreciate the innovations that Novi continues to do to make our program better.
- Novi frees up our time to help focus more on growing our membership, and it also has great opportunities to create some non-dues revenue.
- I love that Novi was built by its users and continues to be. They are constantly making improvements, and I love that customer service is so accessible.
Cons
- Our data coming in was in bad shape so it took longer to get set up.
- This software has truly cut down on some repetitive tasks I was having to do previously, and now I have more time to get to things I may have not been able to in the past.
- I enjoy that there are many options on Novi but some can be confusing. Before the last update I was unable to pull up a report of who had joined or dropped.
