Pros/Cons
Pros
- We are thankful to have Eleo as the price and database capabilities fit our budget for a small non-profit like us. The support team has been very friendly and helpful.
- The Help resources are comprehensive and very useful. Eleo support has been great to work with during the data import and implementation process.
- I like the simple integration with MailChimp. The training, support, and online resources are outstanding.
Cons
- I'm still relatively new to this product, so any 'trouble' I'm having may very well be yet my own lack of understanding on how to do something.
- When you first log on, there is so much that one may feel overwhelmed and confused.
- But we're talking two second sometimes two or three second response as opposed to one second. I don't thing it's going to hurt productivity at all.
Pros
- I have been using Zipbooks since last year and I have enjoyed the ease of use. They clean interface is very appealing.
- The invoices are simple, clean, beautiful and there is an "include PDF" option when sending out the invoice to clients (for those that prefer to print out and save their invoices).
- Custom categories are really nice, too. Love ability to add docs to transactions and link transactions to certain clients.
Cons
- Response times in my experience have been days and I am a paid member. Along with the responses are silly gifs some people may dig, but when you have a problem, it's downright insulting.
- Third party companies can make them look bad when they have horrible customer service.
- No balance statement, COG's are lumped together on the Income Statement, no division of income sources and no field on the Income Statement is clickable for a detailed report.
