Excellent customer support with a very quick response time. Very easy to use!!!

PROS

Ease of use. We are able to use Flipcause for all of our financial backend needs. Campaigns can be tailored to use peer to peer fundraising, event ticket sales, merchandise sales and volunteer management. The platform is also donor friendly and gives the donor the option to cover all fees so that more funds come to us. They will also design individual campaigns for us - this is HUGE for a small staff of two.

CONS

Like with anything new the hardest part is simply learning the basics! I have found it hard to find tutorials on my own but their customer service staff is so quick to respond that it really is a non-issue.

Flipcause is FANTASTIC for Non-Profits!!!

PROS

I really like how easy Flipcause is to use for the many campaigns we have. I am able to customize each campaign with graphics and text in order to make them look very professional. Flipcause is much more user friendly and efficient than the database we used in the past for donation processing and event fundraising.

CONS

I needed an option for our donors and supporters to stay connected by signing up to receive our quarterly newsletters we send out in the mail as well as our e-blasts that we send out often. The only campaign I could make it work with was the "Volunteer" campaign option. It worked for the most part except that I can't customize the text that says "Current Opportunities" to say something like "Sign Up for our newsletters" or "Stay Connected" instead.

Reasons for switching to Flipcause

Blackbaud eTapestry is inefficient and difficult to use and didn't have all of the options we needed.

Small nonprofit FlipCause user since 2016

Easy to use all under one umbrella; frees up my time for other tasks.

PROS

I love the way Flipcause integrates so many previously separate functions under one easy and efficient roof: event registration, payment, sponsorship, volunteer management, campaign landing page, in-kind donation offering and even website. Since our nonprofit has a very small staff, it makes it so much easier

CONS

The Weebly website is functional, easy to set-up and perform basic editing. However the options for appearance is quite limited and needs professional coding to make it look really professional and slick.

Reasons for switching to Flipcause

So much easier (and less expensive) having it all under one integrated umbrella.

Dreadful Company + Terrible Customer Service

Not one benefit. This was supposed to be for our agency website. We serve the homeless with severe and persistent mental illness and did not receive the support needed. What a waste of money - $3,600 + a pending $1,800 that I am currently disputing with our credit card company.

PROS

I have nothing positive to say about this company!

CONS

We never got it to work. We paid for it for 2 years and now that I'm trying to terminate the 3rd year that I did not request, I am being given the run around.

Flipcause has helped us raise more money than we were able to before

Flipcause is helping us to take in more donations because that is its focus. We are able to funnel program registrations through the Flipcause campaigns so that we get donations and people signing up for our programs. The tech support at Flipcause has been phenomenal and extremely helpful.

PROS

I like the easy way we can set up campaigns, and then communicate with people that sign up or donate to that campaign. The interface is very flexible and thorough. Creating a website with Flipcause has also been easy to do, as is maintaining it.

CONS

It is missing a relational database which would be very useful to us. In addition, it doesn't have a batch mailer capability so we have to maintain a separate database for emailing people.

Flipcause was a useful package that Social Good Fund suggested we switch to when we joined them.

Flipcause saves our nonprofit time and money!

Overall I can't thank Flipcause enough for all their support. As a grassroots organization without a team to manage our online presence, the team at Flipcause has literally been AMAZING and helpful with all our requests in a timely manner.

PROS

The best part about Flipcause is the support team you get to help you set up websites, campaigns, and online donations. It saves us so much time not to have to learn an entirely new platform. It's like having an entire team working for our success on demand. Thank you Flipcause!

CONS

In my experience, the donate page has to open to a new tab in order to work and this extra step is confusing for donors and not user-friendly on mobile devices.

We are early stage and really like the one to one support team with Flipcause.

Reasons for switching to Flipcause

The platform was hard to use, didn't provide a support team, and was the same cost. Also, Flipcause has donor management built in which is the backbone of our website, making it much more impactful for our organization's needs.

Great for Entry Level or Advanced Fundraising

Great overall experience. Have raised over $2M since incept with the software. Support department is good to respond to any problems.

PROS

It's fast and easy to create impactful campaigns and launch them online. You have creative control over the output. They are not "cookie-cutter" pages.

CONS

There is nothing I don't like about the software. I don't like having to use the payment processor Flipcause chose, but it is a condition of the software use. Rates are too high and transfers are taking too long.

Great service and interface

PROS

After a brief period, I was able to use Flipcause with ease. A giant improvement over doing everything manually on Google sheets. I can easily see who is donating, how much, and when.

CONS

Some aspects are non-intuitive and cumbersome. I don't always quickly find what I am looking for if I am doing anything beyond routine activities.

It was easier to use and more reasonably priced. I love how it works in terms of service and saving on processing fees

Reasons for switching to Flipcause

Our organization grew too quickly for Google to be practical. PayPal took too much money.

PROS

We use the campaigns the most for sponsorships & volunteer opportunities. The Flipcause team is very responsive & always gets edits made in a timely manner. We have been very impressed with this company.

CONS

We would love to have a membership system for volunteers built out so they can track their own hours, etc.

Flipcause has been super useful in so many ways

Aside from the already-mentioned help with reporting, fundraising, and volunteer management, I feel that having a more intuitive web presence has helped legitimize us in the local non-profit community. We may have been around for 40 years, but our old website looked even older. This site has helped us communicate better with those that need us the most.

PROS

The best thing about this software is that it has helped organize our financial collection efforts. Before , our website could not process payments. Little did we know that we had many people that were willing to join our group, donate to our cause, and provide feedback. Flipcause has helped us with these passive collection efforts, increasing our donations dramatically. Is this the only thing I love? No! The volunteer management, communications, and reports are all worth a review in their own right. Their staff is very talented and responsive.

CONS

Some screens, when selected, take the end user to some redundant screens (Eg., the volunteer signup page has two stops that are not needed). All features can be customized and the options are sometimes not in intuitive locations... but their staff is always there to help point you in the right direction.

Reason for choosing Flipcause

The promise of having dedicated support, a site that could grow with us, and having most of the functions we needed provided by a company that was familiar with the needs of Non-Profit organizations were all very important to us.

Reasons for switching to Flipcause

Wordpress was not intuitive enough to be supported by our rotating staff. we needed more responsiveness and Wordpress no longer supported some of the software we used regularly (credit card processor and constantcontact). It was clunky, complicated, and outdated.

Best Software For Small Nonprofit Organizations Management

My overall experience with Flipcause has been awesome. I'm excited to see the growth of my foundation while partnering with Flipcause and the impact set to come in the future.

PROS

I like how easy it is for me make updates on my website using the built-in features that Flipcause offers with their website management tool. I also really like how easy it is for me to keep track of data information such as donor support, sponsorships, and other information that helps keep my organization running efficiently.

CONS

I really don't have any cons at this time.

Saves me time and money!

Sometimes I have miscommunication with my website managers, seems they don't always pay attention to details. They still save me time and are super friendly when they miss something.

PROS

Flipcause is easy for me to use, is less expensive for donors and myself, and helps with my website management. Has freed up so much of my time!

CONS

Wish there was a more marketing software available, such as email marketing.

Flipcause is on the Rise

Our organization is utilizing Flipcause to track our contacts and donors as well as for our website, website updates, and events. Customer service and Team [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] have been outstanding, patient, and helpful. This by far has been the greatest experience we have had with onboarding and CRM software

PROS

Flipcause is easy to use, intuitive, inviting, well designed and great for the overall small non profit user with great customer service support.

CONS

Flipcause does not yet have some of the functionality of the larger CRM software, but what they have done they have done well. I look forward to the increasing capabilities.

Flipcause is Awesome!

Overall, the fact that Flipcause provides almost everything needed to run our non-profit organization is of utmost importance, and they are there to help every step of the way. The ease with which we can reconcile activity with QBO is not only a time-saver but a pleasure as well.

PROS

Flipcause is the lifeline of our organization: Membership management, donation management, event registration, and contact database are all necessities. And they work together so well, unlike having separate programs or apps as we had previously.

CONS

We've been with Flipcause for five+ years, and I know at the beginning, it was somewhat of a challenge to set up. That, however, is true of any new system. I'm always learning something new. And the FC success teams are always there to help. I only wish that they were available for a phone call rather than simply an email as they were when we first signed up.

Our previous website had an outside person in control of it. It would take a phone call, email or text message to get any changes made and then it could take several days for it to happen. Text and photos were not great. And the biggest issue was donations and event registrations were handled by a third party, funds handled by a fourth party, and putting it all together was a challenge.

Flipcause is the Bomb

Flipcause from day one has been an exceptional company to work with. The customer service I have received has been exceptional. The ease of use and training - exceptional. They not only kept their promises but did one better and stepped up when the Techsoup offer ended and still provided us with the same benefits.

PROS

What don't I like? The price, the support, the ease of use - after reviewing lots of options Flipcause without a doubt was the best solution for us.

CONS

I am looking forward to the mass mailing component going live. This is the only thing missing that would make this package perfect in my opinion.

Reason for choosing Flipcause

The price was the most affordable for the size of our organization. This includes the charge for credit card processing which maxes out at no more ever than 1.5%. Because our organization essentially only has one employee, and I am contract and will be leaving at the end of October, we need something that provides a lot of support as well as putting all of our tools in one location. Flipcause does this with the exception of the mail program which will be up and running before the end of the year. It was also imperative that we had an easy to use donor database that could be updated by volunteers and board members and had easy-to-use report running features. Flipcause provides this within their package. Flipcause includes a website and the support I have received to date in creating that website and all the other tools has been nothing less than phenomenal. This was all during our trial phase without any commitment on our part. Having an up-to-date website with easy access to help services has been one of our biggest challenges and flipcause seems to be the perfect solution for this. Flipcause does not require any contracts and has guaranteed that no matter how our organization grows our monthly cost will remain the same.

Our humane society has been extremely impressed with the ease and functionality of using Flipcause.

We can now now update and customize our website whenever and however we like instead of calling a third party. I have zero experience with website editing and even for someone like me it is extremely easy to figure out. The biggest benefit has been that the credit card processing is all essentially done through our website as well. They charge the lowest credit card processing fee we have seen and then all the information is stored in a donor database in the back end. Another great perk of this software is the customer service/design team that comes with it. We host many events and donation campaigns throughout the year and they make it easy to customize and create something for each event on their website including ticket sales and specialty requests. If you don't have time to create the campaign yourself you can send the information over to them and they will create it for you. We really don't have enough great things to say about the Flipcause team because the change has just been so monumental since switching over. It is much less stressful to manage our website and donations and donor database through one company than having 6+ third parties we constantly have to call.

PROS

Prior to using Flipcause we had third party entities which hosted our website (3+ outside parties) plus more third parties that ran just the donation part of our website (again 3+ other parties). Because we were using all these third
