infoodle is a cloud-based nonprofit management solution for small and midsize properties such as charities, churches and community associations. The solution provides features such as contact management, event management, financial management and reporting.

infoodle’s event organizer updates calendars in real time with timelines of all the upcoming events and helps managers assign volunteers to each event based on availability. It can also send automated email reminders to volunteers for upcoming events.

The solution is able to combine online check-ins, a centralized knowledge base and online forms.

infoodle integrates with Xero, MailChimp, Microsoft Excel, Stripe, Twilio and Paypal. Integration with Xero enables organizations to monitor financial metrics and reduce manual data entry.

So Happy with this Software

After reviewing many member management software companies, we chose Infoodle because of its ability to integrate seamlessly with Xero accounting, for its ability to create endless customizable forms and for its ease of use. Our staff has embraced it fully and is very satisfied with its capabilities. Of course, customer support is there whenever we need them!

Pros

Cloud and module based - you pay only for what you need and the amount of active contacts you have. Integrates with overall payment gateways, Xero, MailChimp and text availability. Can also add an app. The best part is the customer service. The team is there to help with anything. Sometimes it feels as if the software is being customized especially for you (which it is). They are willing to make it possible!

Excellent.

Pros

1) It's easy to use. The interface is not scary, which is ideal for us at our small charity, as we don't have the budget for a dedicated data person. Thus, who we hire must be able to figure out the database with ease.
2) It grows with you. We've needed to ask for developments around Finance Tracking, e.g. having additional options when asking for reports. Infoodle has been able to deliver on this for us.
3) Customer Service--again, as a charity with a small budget, we hire to suit very specific needs. Database administration is not one of them. I feel safe and secure with Infoodle, knowing that should our staff (most of which don't have experience in using databases) need assistance, Infoodle can help either via their online training manuals, email, or phone.
4) NZ Based. Fantastic to know we're supporting a NZ company. NZ post address feature is great :-) !
5) Xero integration. Holy wow has this eased and simplified our donations process.
6) Ability to track and generate receipts.

Cons

Features and functionality--Overall, features are widespread and function well. However, I rated this 4/5 stars because I think there's room for improvement in a couple key areas for us.

1) Communication functionality--fonts are limited, many of the most professional fonts do not support Maori macrons. We can't do much communication through Infoodle, as all of our external comms (thank you letters, for example), includes Maori somewhere.

2) Finance Reporting-On the Tracking end of things, Infoodle is great. It's easy to upload donations, has simplified and shortened our donation entry process, and the ease of receipting is terrific. However, the reporting features are limited...or well, they might be there, but it's not clear how the reporting features benefit our charity. It would be great to be offered some training on the reporting features that do exist in Infoodle, such as campaigns, audit trail, analysis, memberships, and be given guidance on how/why certain features are useful for reporting....How do we take our data in Infoodle and make sense of it?

Our experience has been very efficient and supportive.

Consolidation of all our data and easy access to it.

Pros

It has enabled us to consolidate all the information we had on different databases and spreadsheets. It is also extremely easy to access information and gain statistics clearly and easily. I also like having the option of being able to access Infoodle from anywhere. The email functionality is my favorite option. It allows me to send emails to segmented groups and keeps a history for each individual contact which is extremely helpful.

A Great Utility

Managing our local community club single handedly is a tough task, but Infoodle has made it much, much easier. On the odd occaision we've needed to show other people how to use it, they've picked it up really quickly. We also like the fact its web based and very reasonably priced.

Great Donor Management

I run a charitable trust that operates on public donations. I needed a robust system that would be easy to use from the start but have everything needed as the donor database grows. Infoodle is wonderfully scaleable with its various modules and is easy to use. I've managed to find my way around it and use it for everything I need even without using the free training. There are a couple of items I need from it still, but have been assured that those things are in the pipeline and will be available in the near future as the product continues to grow and improve. Alongside the actual system, the customer support is second-to-none. Infoodle have responded to everything I have needed and asked extremely quickly.

The great thing about Infoodle is the level of customisation you are allowed as opposed to other systems. The fact that it started in a NZ church also helps as we always struggled to fit the American model on which other systems are based. The modules system is a great way to ensure you only pay for what you really need. The system is constantly being updated and added on to and the technical support is fantastic. Other highlight is the reporting - very flexible and helpful. Overall it is a neat tool that allows us to have a quality database that can be accessed online, via their app and - to put the available data to good use.

No Regrets

Infoodle is a developing product - it just gets better and better. The problem with that is that it's not yet perfect in every way. The good thing about that is that the developers are responsive and prompt to meet our needs and we are able to have a say in the shaping of a fantastic product. If I ever have a problem, it's dealt with - promptly! I don't feel like a number - you can get on the phone and speak to real people who want to help. Any suggestions are taken on board and we're never ignored. I'm becoming more and more familiar with Infoodle; it's meeting all our needs. Looking forward to expanding our use in time. No regrets.

Infoodle - simple and effective

Infoodle is reliable, intuitive and user-friendly. With some very basic training it is easy to navigate so virtually anyone could use it. We find the reporting features particularly good as well as the custom fields that are easy to add, use and report on. The customer service provided by the Infoodle Team is amazing. Our initial migration to Infoodle from our previous (more expensive American based) database was seamless. Being able to only pay for the modules you need is also great so that you're not paying for what you don't need but add more when you're ready for them.

FANTASTIC DATABASE

Setting up infoodle database for new charitable trust has being challenging but with the help functions available on it, I have found this to be very helpful and easy to use. Things that I haven't being able to do I would phone or email infoodle and I had amazing service and they did everything to help me achieve what I needed to do. They are always happy to receive feedback on how to improve their database and if viable they would even action it so others could use the function too. This is an incredible database and every time I use it there has been more improvements made. I highly recommend this database to any organization that is looking for a great database.

Strongly recommend, especially for Groups

We have been using infoodle for 18 months and it has been hugely beneficial for us. Initially, group support was "adequate" but since this is so important for us, we have worked closely with the developers to improve it. Now I would say that support for groups is better than in any other product that I am aware of, by a very long way! We use it for our life groups ministry (60 groups and about 650 adults) as well as our church database. Rosters are good now. Again, we had some requirements that were based on a different attitude towards volunteers than originally built into infoodle and the developers worked with us to come up with a very good solution. Our children's ministry uses it for check-in / out on a Sunday and the volunteers love it! We do not use the financial suite yet but it is under consideration. As the site administrator I have a lot of facilities available to me to modify the product for our specific needs (adding fields and look-up; creating user profiles etc). It is safe to say that we are very happy with infoodle. The ease of use has improved a great deal from the original version. There are some screens that are more intuitive than others but infoodle have demonstrated that this is always on the agenda for improvement.

Best NZ church database

Infoodle meets all my needs for a NZ church database. It is quick and easy to update, cloudbased, and you can print a directory from the information you have previously entered. Any requested changes are made in a timely way. The database is constantly being improved due to suggestions from the wide clientbase of NZ churches. It is affordable, and the applications that it offers far exceed our current use. I'm excited by the potential offered by Infoodle to be a better, more caring church as we incorporate infoodle into every ministry of our church.

Infoodle - An excellent programe

We have just set up our church on the Infoodle Data Base which is excellent. One of the best things about it are the creators of the program Richard and Aukje Smith who have a real heart for the local church, run regular on line training and are only too happy to assist with any problems. Infoodle is a great program I highly recommend it, easy to use and keeps all your information in one place. We are continually thinking of new ways we can use our Infoodle data base.
