Pros/Cons
Pros
- I love the beautiful simplicity of Instrumentl. It's extremely intuitive and easy to train other team members on using the software.
- Impressed with the wonderful, attentive customer service. It is absolutely great to be able to search for new opportunities and do the research using Instrumentl's tools.
- Having one place where we can run (and save!) searches for grants, get a great initial research-overview on the prospect, and manage the grantseeking process is truly beneficial.
Cons
- The only thing missing is I can't filter my funders by state - that is a key search criterion when looking for new funders.
- The only "problem" being solved for me is the time-saving feature of using Instrumentl.
- We have been in the midst of a capital campaign, while still working hard to retain operational funding.
Pros
- The Monday.com platform is excellent in these areas, so for me it seems like an excellent choice.
- What I liked most about Monday is that it is super user friendly. Synchs to user emails to ensure messages/updates are received.
- User friendly and provides a great level of control for managers and supervisors. The progress tracking is also a great reduction in time for managers.
Cons
- They shut down our free trial on us with no notice and we lost all our data for over 2 months. Customer service was horrific and gave us the run around.
- The only downside I have encountered was probably use error, wherein I set up 2 logins by accident.
- It's really difficult to consider anything I loathed in slack. It generally appears to figure, it doesn't have the conveyance issues Teams do.
