About Roster Volunteers

JSJ Online Roster is a cloud-based volunteer scheduling solution that caters to churches, clubs, sports teams and non-profit organizations. It lets administrators create volunteer tasks, enables volunteers to mark their availability for scheduling and helps supervisors assign duties to specific members.

Key features include workload distribution, multiple built-in communication tools, customization capabilities and more. JSJ Online Roster provides users with a drop-down list of volunteers, and volunteers are listed in order based on their scheduled frequency in the previous months. Users can also view lists of volunteers alphabetically.

JSJ Online Roster allows schedulers to send mass emails to remind scheduled individuals about assigned activities, or to request that they provide their availability for scheduling. Additionally, the solution features different access levels for members, leaders, supervisors and administrators.

Services are offered on a monthly subscription basis that includes support via phone and email.

A true benefit for our organization

We only operate during tax season and cost has to be minimized. We are an all-volunteer organization with funding by a grant. It's been very helpful to activate inexpensively for our season!

Pros:

It was a simply designed to do exactly what we needed - not less - and not a lot of extras to cause confusion. The developer has been totally responsive to our requests and any suggestions that we have made. It's constantly improving!

Cons:

It is slow and burdensome when I just need to run through the list to check on a particular entry, ie, are all the emails turned on, check phone numbers, etc.? Because it takes time to click each one. Ideally, an administrator should be able to see all at once.

Extremely useful software for scheduling volunteer

In view of the fact that I previously scheduled people by hand, this was marvellous! It was such a step up from what I was doing. My experience with it has been very positive in all aspects. It has made the life of the scheduler much easier, and now, as a user, it is very easy to mark my availability, check the schedule and confirm my attendance.

-Ease of scheduling a number of people into various tasks -Reminder function to remind volunteers of their schedule is very useful -Ease of access for volunteers to mark their availability -Ability to filter the roster list makes it very easy to communicate with specific groups of volunteers -Being able to schedule a block of time, such as 1-3 months -Great support

Cons:

-Having to scroll up and down to find the date when it's necessary to make changes in the schedule

Pros:

It is easy to learn and easy to use. The reminder function is very helpful and participants have been very positive about the system.

Cons:

There is nothing I don’t like about this program but I could suggest that it would be nice if the column headings could appear at the top of each printed page, for example when the Roster list is printed.

Great Scheduling Product

This tool was really built with a scheduler in mind. It can handle our roster of 100+ people with ease and has a lot of useful and purposeful features. It works well on my phones browser too.

Pros:

Feels custom built for out purposes. You can hover over a task to see who is available. You can email people with ease from different groups.

Cons:

I don’t have any cons but I think they are workin. On an auto-fill feature that would be cool. Or an app would also be nice.
