## Reviews summary

- Overall rating: 4.2/5
- Total reviews: 2,068

### Secondary ratings

- Ease of use: 4.0/5
- Customer support: 3.8/5
- Value for money: 3.9/5
- Functionality: 4.2/5

### Rating distribution

- 5 stars: 970 reviews (47%)
- 4 stars: 788 reviews (38%)
- 3 stars: 216 reviews (10%)
- 2 stars: 39 reviews (2%)
- 1 star: 55 reviews (3%)

### Most mentioned pros

- Finally, its deep customization allows businesses to build complex, automated workflows (SuiteFlow) that fit their specific operational DNA rather than forcing a "one-size-fits-all" approach.
- NetSuite has been really great for linking different areas of the company together. Because financial, procurement, reporting and project-related activity can all be managed in one application, time is saved because there’s no need to navigate through multiple systems to collect all the relevant details.
- You can customize workflows, dashboards, and reports to match your specific needs, and as your business evolves, the platform scales right along with it.

### Most mentioned cons

- They followed a cookie-cutter playbook with no effort to tailor the system to our complex processes. When we tried to explain workflows that didn't fit their standard template, they looked at us like we were speaking a foreign language.
- What I liked least was the challenge of getting other users up to speed and fully embracing the platform. Because of its complexity, people often get frustrated and gravitate toward outside tools for tasks that NetSuite can actually handle natively - which undermines the value of having one centralized system.
- For example, consignment functionality does not work well when assembly items are enabled, which creates limitations in more complex inventory setups.

### Comprehensive functionality, but too much complexity

My overall experience has been average. NetSuite is clearly capable and can be very effective for organisations with complex financial and operational requirements, but it requires significant effort to configure and use properly. It provides useful functionality and reporting, but I would like to see a simpler user experience, more intuitive workflows and less dependency on specialist support.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 3/5
- Value for money: 3/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

The main advantage is having a broad range of financial and operational functionality within a single platform. It provides good visibility across the business, supports complex processes and can reduce the need to manage data across multiple disconnected systems. Reporting and having a central source of information are particularly useful.

#### Cons

Ease of use is the biggest weakness. The interface can feel dated and unintuitive, and relatively simple tasks can sometimes involve too many steps. Configuration and customisation can also be complex and often require specialist knowledge. This makes adoption harder and limits the value for users who only access the platform occasionally.

My initial impression wasn’t great—I found the interface overwhelming and not very intuitive. But after spending time with it and learning the system, I completely changed my mind. NetSuite turned out to be a robust, scalable platform that, once configured properly, streamlined our operations and gave us visibility we didn’t have before. It’s not the easiest software to learn, but the payoff in functionality and integration is absolutely worth the effort.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Powerful ERP software with a strong infrastructure that seamlessly integrates financials, inventory, and order management in one platform. It scales well as your business grows, provides real-time visibility across departments, and offers extensive customization options to match complex workflows.

#### Cons

WMS lacks key features like cubic measurement for warehouse inventory, which made managing box dimensions and storage capacity more manual than expected. This limitation reduces efficiency in space planning and order packing, requiring workarounds that add time and complexity to daily operations.

#### Reasons for switching to NetSuite

Our previous system, World officer, fell short as the company grew—it couldn’t scale with our expanding inventory, multi-location needs, or complex financial reporting. We needed a unified platform that could keep up with higher order volumes and provide real-time visibility across departments. NetSuite offered the infrastructure and integration we were missing.

It was a very great experience, especially since it was my first time using NetSuite. At first, I felt a bit nervous and unsure about how everything worked, but as I explored the system, I gradually became more comfortable. The interface was user-friendly, and I appreciated how organized the features were. It helped me understand how businesses manage their operations efficiently. Overall, the experience was both exciting and educational. I learned a lot in a short amount of time, and it gave me confidence to use similar systems in the future. I look forward to improving my skills and gaining more experience with NetSuite.

#### Ratings breakdown

#### Pros

Like the most in the netsuite it is very intuitive and easy to use. You can easy navigate all th function.

#### Cons

What I liked least about NetSuite was none, as my overall experience was positive. Even though it was my first time using the system, I did not encounter any major difficulties that would stand out as something I disliked. While there were moments of confusion due to unfamiliarity, I see them as part of the learning process rather than actual drawbacks of the platform. The system worked efficiently, and its features were helpful in understanding business operations. Overall, I did not find any aspect that I would consider negative, and I am satisfied with my experience using NetSuite.

### Efficient Ordering and Invoicing Tool with Helpful Auto-Population Features

- Overall rating: 5/5

- Company size: 5001-10000 employees
- Product usage: Used monthly for more than 2 years

- Review source details: This review was submitted organically. No incentive was offered

Overall, my experience with NetSuite was positive. We used it for ordering and invoicing, and it made bulk ordering much faster and more organized. The auto-populating item codes and frequently ordered item suggestions were very helpful for saving time. I do think the system could improve by making order changes more transparent, especially when multiple people are working in the same account, but overall it was a useful and efficient tool.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

I liked how convenient NetSuite was for ordering and invoicing. Being able to type in the percentage sign and item code to auto-populate products made entering bulk orders much faster and more efficient. I also liked that orders could be printed quickly, which made it easier to keep track of what was entered. Over time, NetSuite also seemed to learn frequently ordered items and would auto-populate items we commonly used, which helped speed up the ordering process.

#### Cons

My biggest frustration was that if someone else made changes to an order, it was not always clear what was changed or why. For example, if a quantity was adjusted, there was not an obvious explanation or note showing the reason for the change. Because of that, I often had to print the order immediately after entering it so I could keep track of any changes made later.

### Powerful and Scalable ERP with a Steep Learning Curve

- Overall rating: 4/5
- Reviewer: Rizwan K.
- Verified reviewer: Yes
- Industry: Hospital & Health Care
- Company size: 201-500 employees
- Product usage: Used daily for more than 2 years
- Reviewed: April 2026
- Review source details: This reviewer was invited by the software vendor to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you.

Overall, my experience with NetSuite has been positive. It is a powerful and comprehensive platform that brings together multiple business functions into a single system, improving visibility and control over operations. The real-time reporting and centralized data make it easier to make informed decisions and manage performance effectively. However, the system can be complex and requires time to learn, especially for new users. Customization and implementation may also require additional support, which can increase costs and timelines. Despite these challenges, once fully set up and understood, NetSuite proves to be a reliable and scalable solution that supports business growth and streamlines processes.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Flexibility for a custom solution allows organizations to tailor systems, processes, or products to meet their unique needs and goals. Instead of relying on rigid, one-size-fits-all approaches, a customizable solution adapts to changing requirements, integrates with existing tools, and scales alongside growth. This flexibility supports innovation by enabling teams to experiment, refine, and optimize without major constraints. It also improves efficiency, as features and workflows can be designed specifically for the task at hand. Ultimately, a flexible custom solution empowers businesses to stay competitive, respond quickly to market demands, and deliver more personalized experiences to their customers while maintaining long-term adaptability.

#### Cons

One of the main drawbacks is the delay in adding enhancements and new features. Updates or requested improvements can take a significant amount of time to be implemented, which may slow down business processes or limit the ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements. This can be frustrating for users who rely on timely system improvements to increase efficiency or address specific operational needs. Reporting can be challenging to configure without technical knowledge, and performance may occasionally lag when handling large datasets.

I have 7 years of experience with NetSuite, which has given me a well-rounded perspective on the platform. I started on the operations side as an end user, which gave me a ground-level understanding of how the system supports day-to-day business processes. Over time I transitioned into an admin role with a primary focus on analytics and process optimization. That progression has been valuable - understanding how data is created at the operational level makes me more effective at building meaningful reports, identifying inefficiencies, and designing solutions that actually work for the people using them. I’ve leveraged NetSuite’s customization capabilities, including custom fields and saved searches, to tailor the platform to business needs and help teams move away from outside tools by showing them what NetSuite can truly do.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

What I liked most about NetSuite is having a single source of truth for all business data - everyone works from the same information, which improves accuracy and decision-making across departments. I also appreciated the ability to create custom fields, which allowed us to capture the specific data points that matter most to the business and tailor the system to our unique needs.

#### Cons

What I liked least was the challenge of getting other users up to speed and fully embracing the platform. Because of its complexity, people often get frustrated and gravitate toward outside tools for tasks that NetSuite can actually handle natively - which undermines the value of having one centralized system. It’s something I’ve worked to address through training and showing users how the platform can make their work easier once they understand it.

My overall experience with Oracle NetSuite has been both rewarding and transformative. I’ve worked extensively with the platform in implementing, supporting, and optimizing ERP solutions across multiple subsidiaries in the construction, retail, asset management, and manpower service sectors. What I value most is how NetSuite provides real-time visibility across business functions, automates critical workflows, and supports multi-entity financial management under one cloud system. These capabilities have significantly improved operational efficiency and compliance reporting within our group. Of course, the system’s complexity posed some initial challenges — particularly around customization and user adoption — but these experiences enhanced my technical skills in SuiteAnalytics, saved searches, and process design. Overall, NetSuite has strengthened my understanding of how data-driven ERP systems can transform business decision-making, and it continues to be a platform I enjoy mastering and improving for better organizational performance.

- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

What I like most about NetSuite is its ability to unify multiple business processes — accounting, inventory, HR, CRM, and analytics — all within a single cloud platform. This eliminates data silos and improves decision-making in real time.

#### Cons

While NetSuite is highly customizable, certain advanced automations require SuiteScript knowledge or developer support. This can slow down implementation if the organization doesn’t have in-house technical expertise.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Value for money: 3/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

NetSuite’s biggest "pro" is its unified database, which creates a single source of truth across finance, CRM, and inventory. This eliminates data silos and manual reconciliations, drastically speeding up financial closes. Users also love its scalability; the "OneWorld" feature handles multi-subsidiary, multi-currency, and global tax needs seamlessly as a company grows. Because it is cloud-native, you get real-time visibility from anywhere without maintaining servers. Finally, its deep customization allows businesses to build complex, automated workflows (SuiteFlow) that fit their specific operational DNA rather than forcing a "one-size-fits-all" approach.

#### Cons

Users most frequently cite high, unpredictable costs as a top grievance, specifically aggressive price hikes during contract renewals. The steep learning curve is another major hurdle; the interface feels dated and requires significant training to navigate. Implementation is often described as a "money pit"—it’s a long, complex process that frequently requires expensive external consultants. Technically, users complain about performance lag when running multiple scripts and a clunky reporting system that is unintuitive for non-technical staff. Finally, customer support is often criticized for being slow to resolve bugs, leaving businesses stuck during critical periods.

My experiance with NetSuite has been mixed. It’s a very powerful ERP system and works well for managing different parts of the business in one platform. Reporting and financial tracking are strong points. At the same time it does have a learning curve and sometimes requires external consultants to fully utilize it. Once you get past that, it becomes a pretty reliable system.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 3/5
- Value for money: 2/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

It brings everything together in one place like accounting, financials, inventory and reporting. Its really helpful not having to switch between multiple systems. The real-time reporting and dashboards are pretty useful for getting a quick view of how the business is doing. It also scales well as the company grows, which is a big plus. Once everything is set up properly, it can handle a lot of complex business processes

#### Cons

It can be pretty complex and not very beginner friendly. The interface feels a bit outdated in some areas and takes time to get used to. Customization is powerful but also confusing unless you have proper training or support. Also the cost can be quite high, especially for smaller businesses

Good, been working almost 10 years, had some ups and downs with support but most problems come from incomplete deployment assessments

#### Ratings breakdown

- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Easy for end user learning curve, browser native UI, highly customizable screen forms, standard accounting and finance processes

#### Cons

Lacks some native business processes like sales contract agreement management, some flows might be slow for user experience with ERP desktop apps
