  • Pros

  • Every year new updates make the software better than the year before. The pricing is affordable for non-profits and they offer superior customer service, tech support and a fantastic help section.
  • Out overall experience was fantastic. I can not say enough about all of the awesome functions and great customer service.
  • We particularly loved the automated winner text notification and giving them the opportunity to self check-out/pay, making it all so much faster and easier.
  • Cons

  • The menu items can be confusing at times. When looking for something in particular, it can be hard to know which menu item to look under.
  • We had used BidPal/OneCause prior but the cost model was unbearable for us this year. With Silent Auction Pro we pay after the first event; nothing upfront.
  • The customer service is key and you guys have it nailed. Many people already struggle with technology and to learn a whole new software program can be frustrating even for those who know it well.

  • The software was so easy to use and had so many aids to help. They partner with some pretty impressive companies that donate for auctions so that you can use them as you try to raise money.
  • I also really appreciated the ability to supplement the auction with items from winning bidder where we generated 40% or 80% of the sales price.
  • Perfection solution for a non profit auction. I also like being able to add donated items.
  • Cons

  • Had to get my daughter (I am terrible with computers) to straighten everything out. Took more than 8 hours and several phone calls to resolve this problem.
  • Some of the tools are hard to find. Some users had problems getting their credit cards to load and stick.
  • The closing time was disappointing as we had set a 9:40 time and it closed at 9:40. We had guests that wanted to submit some last minute bids and they were not able to.
