Pros/Cons
  • Pros

  • Out overall experience was fantastic. I can not say enough about all of the awesome functions and great customer service.
  • They are alaways available by phone or email, and while their website has fabulous tutorials, they are also fabulous in providing you hands on support.
  • It is intuitive, simple, and made us look polished and organized. Features I loved most include: Easy Check-in, Easy Check-Out, entering of winning bids, and the integrated credit card feature.
  • Cons

  • The menu items can be confusing at times. When looking for something in particular, it can be hard to know which menu item to look under.
  • We had used BidPal/OneCause prior but the cost model was unbearable for us this year. With Silent Auction Pro we pay after the first event; nothing upfront.
  • The customer service is key and you guys have it nailed. Many people already struggle with technology and to learn a whole new software program can be frustrating even for those who know it well.

  • This was an amazing investment into our program. It is incredibly user friendly and easy to transition to from the old system.
  • Overall, my experience with VolunteerMark has been fantastic. We like the system and will continue to use it.
  • I do like the user friendly interface when interacting from a laptop or computer. I think most items are very intuitive and like the customization that can be done for each each event and shift.
  • Cons

  • It was difficult for me to set up in the way that I needed and there were so many weird bugs that were alarming.
  • A non-profit that I'm advising was having trouble keeping track of all their volunteers and "who was doing what and when.
  • My graphics/logos have a somewhat distorted appearance. Volunteers have expressed they are not able to sign up for multiple shifts at one time- they have to sign up for each one individually.
