A no-brainer for nonprofits and companies!

The platform and team at Uncommon have been great to work with and quickly answer any questions I've had.

PROS

We set up an account with Uncommon Giving for our nonprofit to accept donations from companies through their employee giving capabilities. The platform is very user-friendly and so simple to set up for our organization. It allows us to connect with more companies and employees who have a passion for our mission.

CONS

Uncommon Giving continues to role out new features. I can't wait to see what else they're able to build for companies to mobilize their employees even more to give back in their communities.

Uncommon Giving has been a big help in fundraising and tracking volunteer hours!

As a nonprofit, we love the Uncommon Giving platform, and it has enhanced our fundraising efforts and engagement with donors. It's incredibly easy to create a profile showcasing our work, mission, and impact. We use the platform to communicate actual data and metrics about our programs and their impact. We receive donations from individual and corporate donors over the Uncommon Giving platform, and we use the platform's analytics tools to track these donations and our donor engagement over time which helps us identify trends and opportunities for improving our overall fundraising efforts!

PROS

We love how Uncommon Giving allows us to use photos and videos to show the real impact of our work. We also love the "Thank You" video functionality.

CONS

We love all aspects of the platform but would like to see some enhancements to the ability to offer team fundraising goals.

Uncommon Giving platform - highly recommended!!

My wife and I use our account at Uncommon Common to do nearly all of our giving to the nonprofits we care about. We love our personalized Uncommon Giving landing page where we see the Generosity Feed of all the charities we support. It’s such a great giving experience…fast, simple, streamlined. For some nonprofits, we’ve set up recurring donations which is very convenient. My previous employer signed up for workplace giving which allowed me to make payroll deductions automatically into my giving account. While we give to just 1 or 2 dozen charities, we can research virtually any IRS approved 501c3. At the end of the year, we simply go to our Uncommon Giving account to download a summary of our giving for the year....all of our giving from a single account! We love the cause-based giving accounts that can be created and workplace companies would do more of this. Overall, Uncommon Giving is an awesome way to do your generosity…5 Stars, Uncommon!

PROS

UG is super easy to make a donation to fund my DAF account. From there, I search from over a million IRS approved nonprofits to make donations to. Those that I select become my "favorites" and their activity becomes part of my splash page so they are easily tracked. Making donations from my DAF is super easy. Love the entire experience!

CONS

Searching a million nonprofits is a bit clunky.

The coolest, and easiest to use tech for setting aside and giving money and time to NFPs.

I have been funding a wallet and giving through Uncommon Giving for more than 2 years now. I love the fact that when I am asked for help, I have the dollars set aside and can pull out my phone, research the org asking for help, and if I am inclined, I can make a gift right from my mobile device that gets distributed from my personal Donor Advised Fund quickly. This is the coolest employee benefit I have seen in my career.

PROS

It's so easy to make giving time and money to those organization who you align with. It also automates company matching and volunteer reporting. This is one of the biggest innovations in the charitable world in decades!

CONS

There are continuous enhancements to the app. I can't to see what comes out next!

Reasons for switching to Uncommon Giving

That solution was cumbersome and the time involved in asking for the corporate match was such a burden that I didn't bother with it at all.
