While our size does not require our Association to have a website under Florida Statues, we recognize doing so allows us to more easily meet other legislative requirements and the benefits a site provides our residents and Board of Directors for both accessibility to documents and communications. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 4/5 #### Pros Our Board of Directors choose Neignrs for a number of reasons. We wanted a company that was not a "one man shop" knowing there is both strength and greater innovation in numbers. At the same time, we didn't want a company that was too large with a "one size fits all" or" this is our product; take it or leave it" mentality. Rather we wanted a company that offered a proven product yet with the flexibility and who was sufficiently accommodating to work with us and other Associations to meet our needs. Vinteum is exactly this company. They have a development team with a tested, stable, product yet recognize the need to continue to improve on and add to their current features and functionality. In the relatively short time we have been our board, they have listened to specific needs we and other associations have and added many of the features and desired functionality discussed. The fact some of these are still in progress is the only reason for the 4 Stars on Features and Functionality and I am confident we will soon have them all and any future review will have 5 Stars for all of the areas. It is also very reassuring to know Vinetum has a management team who is interested and actively involved in the product and service the company provides. We researched and evaluated a number of vendors and have the spreadsheets to show for it. Price was a consideration and we have found we are receiving an even better value than we anticipated. #### Cons The "orange barrels" are both a Pro and a Con. It would have been nice, but unrealistic, to be able to select a product off of the shelf that met all of our needs at a price we could afford. No incentive was offered Very very frustrating. We tried for almost two months to adapt to the new software. We ended up with a building full of frustrated residents, and even more frustrated staff. The support staff promises to make changes, but they never get to them. And the few things they do take forever. And if you do decide to use them only do a month to month because they do not have any cancellation policy. We stupidly paid for a year in advance because the service sounded so great, and now they will not refund any portion of that year even though we have had to go back to Building Link. The less expensive choice has turned out to be much more costly. If you are signing in as an administrator you cannot see the "talk to manager" messages. If you sign in as manager you lose your master admin abilities. You have to sign in to each separately. If you have more than one manager or an assistant manager they both get notified anytime someone sends a message. There is no way to put more than one address per resident, which is an issue in a seasonal condo. The zoom feature seems great until you try to use it for a large meeting. Sound quality was so bad it was nearly impossible to hear anyone, and the screen went black for many attendees. The training is done by a team in South America and they are very hard to understand if you have older residents. We seem to get issues corrected quickly. Prefer being able to make a phone call rather than sending an email. #### Cons Not being able to use Apple products to enter the website and use all the features outside of the app. Have also recently had many issues in the last weeks getting on the system because it says my password does not match the system and I have to reset it (with the same password) and it sometimes does not work. Also if I am using both the app and a pc I have to go through the reset password on each device before it will work. Any Florida HOA should look for those guys for documents storage, website and E-voting.
