### Google Keep is one of my all time favorite apps!

I originally opened Google Keep because I saw it in my Google apps and didn't know what it was, so I clicked into it just out of curiosity. So glad I did!! It's now one of my most utilized apps and took over to replace how I used to use the Notes app on my iPhone. I like that I can access Keep from anywhere I log into my Google account. For me it's easier to organize and manage my various lists and notes. I have wild ADHD so having Keep has been extremely helpful. I need to write down everything and anything that I want or need to remember because if I don't it's immediately forgotten like it never existed. I'm able to make notes, or save pictures, write myself things I need to go back to, I also use it just as a brain dump/journal when I need to just organize my thoughts. Keep is awesome and I highly recommend, plus it's free with a Google Account so definitely a HUGE value for zero money since it doesn't cost me anything!

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Google Keep is my "go-to" for quick notes, brainstorming, random things I want to remember to check on, grocery lists, basically anything "informal" that I need to jot down, especially on the go. It's great for my own task management too, I really like the features it has that allow me to paste pictures, color code my notes, and that it's quick and easy to navigate and find the specific note I want to add to.

#### Cons

The only "con" is that I wish I could change the font within specific notes. It's nice that I can change the background and add pictures so I am able to organize that way, but the additional customization to change font size and color would definitely be a major improvement for me!

Google Keep is an absolute life saver! You can make to-do lists, save links, add images, and even remind yourself of emails. The function and features are a dream for anyone who likes to stay organized! You can even get your to-do lists right on your phone to never forget a thing.

#### Cons

My only real complaint is that I wish it was easier to customize the headers, fonts, and even colors. As someone who like their to-do list to not just be functional but also look pretty I wish this was a little easier with Google Keep.

Great app to be used for quick notetaking and frequent use, not great for extended notetaking either typing or pen input as the UI is not designed around pen input.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 3/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

This app is very easy to use, has great quality features and also syncs everything on your Google account, for easy access on all devices. I particularly like the pin feature for notes, absent on other notes apps like apple notes and Samsung notes. UI/IX is also top notch.

#### Cons

I don't like the lack of pen support, I have pen support on my laptop and a galaxy ultra device with an s pen, but because Google keep lacks good pen support and features around it, whenever I have to take notes using my pen which is often I have to switch to something like OneNote.

This app is on my home screen and I use it on a daily basis. I love it's simplicity with the ability to do so many things with it.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Gives you a variety of options to store your notes such as audio, image, text, list and even drawing. I love the ability to use a a combination of list, pictures and drawing in the same note. It's snappy and very responsive. The notes can be shared easily and quickly for collaborations. I love the fact that multiple collaborators can contribute to the same note simultaneously. The syncing is very smooth and effective. This is ideal in many situations such as shopping list. My partner can update the shopping list while I'm at the grocery store ticking items on the same list, which saves lots of time and hassle. Different notes can be given different colours or backgrounds, making it easy to distinguish a specific note when you're looking for it in a hurry. The search bar is super useful and can help you find your notes very quickly. It's very easy to organise your notes by labelling them and you can create your own labels. If you don't want a specific note to appear on the main page, you can archive it but still find it if it's labelled. Overall, the app is well thought of, very easy to use and very practical. It's amazing how they made it simple with so much handy options.

#### Cons

If you mistakenly started a text, it's easy to turn it into a list but you cannot do the opposite. On older versions of android the app sometimes stops working when rotating the screen.

One of the best tools to take quick notes, to-do lists, and rough sketches. I've been using Keep for more than 3 years now and am completely satisfied.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Very handy app for making quick notes, lists or even sketches. I often use Google Keep to take notes during meetings and don't need to keep a diary and pen. It's super easy to copy and transfer into a Word Doc later. Most importantly, it autosaves in real time, so you don't miss even a single word you typed, in case you accidentally close the app

#### Cons

I would have liked it better if Google Keep had some basic formatting capabilities like Bold and Italics. While they do have lists and check boxes, it would have been great to be able to bold, italicize and highlight text as well

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5

Google keep is one of those pieces of software that you cannot live without if you are part of the Google ecosystem. It is integrated with all the other applications they offer and that makes everything so seamless

#### Cons

It's hard to really give this thing a con because it says right in the name Google notes it's created for taking notes and it does that perfectly. No matter where you take your note if you're connected to your Google account you'll be able to access that from anywhere. It's not the best when it comes to task management or project management but again that's not what the app is designed for

#### Reasons for choosing Google Keep

Due to its seamless integration with the rest of the Google ecosystem

#### Reasons for switching to Google Keep

Because Microsoft OneNote and Evernote could not integrate properly into the Google ecosystem

I use Google Keep for personal and family organisation and for professional purposes. Each field has its own colour to avoid confusion. Professionally, I have notes for each course and program and even notes about individual students and their progress. I can choose to share these notes with relevant colleagues or keep them to myself. Periodically, I read through the notes, delete what is no longer relevant and choose to save some notes as Google Docs.

#### Ratings breakdown

#### Pros

I love the simplicity of Google Keep and its synchronisation between all devices. Taking notes and making checklists is quick and easy. Finding previous notes takes seconds. Learning to use the functions is intuitive and similar to other Google tools. I also value the visuality of the tool. incorporating images in the notes is useful.

#### Cons

The To-Do list function is simplistic. I would love to see integration with another Google tool - ToDoist. I would also like to see an automatic date stamp on each note and when it was last updated. You could then choose to organise information by date.

#### Reasons for switching to Google Keep

Ease of use, synchronisation between devices and between programs (Google Drive, for example). Sharing options.

Google Keep has replaced other methods of note keeping for myself and my team. Overall, my experience with the program has been great and I have received similar feedback from other users.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Google Keep is very user friendly and easy to get familiar with using. Being able to easily integrate with other Google platforms is beneficial and there are some features such as, check lists, labels, and the ability to add collaboratiors that enhance the user experience and capabilities.

#### Cons

The only thing I feel would result in drastic improvement of Google Keep is if there were more features and customizations. Added color/background options, fonts, and dashboard structure options along with the ability to have both check lists and plain text within one note would be great additions.

#### Reasons for choosing Google Keep

Google Keep has all core features needed in this type of program.

I started note taking years ago with Google Keep before looking for more features in other apps but this has been my go-to for anything related to work.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 3/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The open canvas to track every bit of info especially if your are Google Workspace user. This could be the place to record every info that you think you have to come back and refer. The search is top notch and the integration with Google suite of apps is excellent

#### Cons

Acts buggy at times so not sure if it because of Chrome or the platform
