Aware3 Software


 

Aware3 is a cloud-based church management solution that helps churches to engage and communicate with their members. The solution allows users to create custom-branded mobile apps for Android and iOS devices. Key features include push messaging, guest check-in, people profiles, real-time alerts, universal giving and more.

Aware3 helps churches create groups for worship teams, greeters and kids’ ministries, and users can create chats for all of theses groups. Users can also send reminders and geo-targeted notifications to volunteers, attendees and church members. The solution helps users create and share videos for announcements, staff bios, project updates and upcoming events.

Aware3 has a donations dashboard that provides data about total donations, recurring gifts and donors’ preferred channels for giving. The solution also provides live polling, real-time alerts, and an interactive calendar.

Services are offered on a monthly subscription basis. Support is available through an online request form.

There interface is easy to understand. Great CUSTOMER SUPPORT!! They were so quick to return my inquiry each time I have contacted them.

Cons

The one draw back about this software is I would like more in dept analytics. Sometimes the apps will have crashing problems.

They are very responsive to support tickets and have been a pleasure to work with.

Pros

It is very simple to use--both from an administration side and a church member/user side.

Cons

In the beginning, so features were lacking. However, after a few years with the company, the features have greatly improved.

Overall, Aware3 is a good option for something that is affordable. However, if you are looking to have more customizable options and more flexibility with layout, then I would suggest another software.

Pros

The layout of this software is very easy to navigate, not overwhelming. It is an easy software for beginners.

Cons

As our organization grew, we needed an app that allowed for more customizable features. Aware3 doesn't really provide the opportunities to expand into more creative or customizable options. We were looking for more features that allow more interaction from the user, and with our template from Aware3, we weren't able to reach that goal.

Overall it has been a positive experience. The only issue I had was when it was time to renew and Apple had a new renewal process, which required me to deal with Apple directly. It turned out to be a very lengthy process due to Apple's processes and the Aware3 people were good about communicating with me and responding to me through emails. However, there were several times I preferred to speak with someone over the phone and I was never able to after asking for a phone contact repeatedly.

Pros

User friendly, I'm able to communicate easily with my audience in a professional manner.

Cons

I use the push notification feature often. I don't care for the 130 character limit.

From start to finish; set-up and customer support; everything has been pretty seemless.
CCB could take a few lessons on how to make one's platform user friendly and streamlined, but I digress.
Couldn't ask for a better church app, with loads of room to grow!

Pros

It's simple to use as an admin and a user.
The features available to small churches in the basic package are stellar and practical for what we're needing for communication and productivity.
As an admin, the customer support has been vital; one of the best I've experienced in a long while.

Cons

No complaints here! I'm sure if I thought harder I could find one or two tweaks I'd like to see, but nothing off the top of my head.

We've really loved aware3. As a newer church, it's allowed us to have a great looking, affordable app that keeps our church connected, informed, and engaged.

AWARE3 gives us more point of contact with our customers in a way that speaks to them (through their phones). We can also see solid reporting so we know how they are using our App, and how many people have the App and are consistently using it.

Pros

Aware3 is easy to use and helped us get an App into production and available to our customers in a very short time period. Also maintaining the App is simple, and making minor changes is also simple, The interface can easily be done by people who are not technically trained.

Cons

We love everything about AWARE3. It has really done way more than what we were looking for, and the product continues to add features well before we are looking for them!

I enjoyed the journey to try and make it work, but resolving some issues in leaving like reoccuring gifts were not made easy.

We received np benefits. Waste of time and money - but fixable if you improve on "cons" listed above.

Cons

There was minimal accessibility of customer service after we subscribed.
There was no documentation or coaching in the implementation phase. We work with volunteers who have limited time (and limited experience) to devote to this. You should make it as easy as possible to get it up and running.

It was great that we could design the app to match with our existing logos and look. It's easy to navigate and use the different buttons (forms, calendar, listen to podcasts, watch videos, etc.).

Cons

The first time you give using the app, you determine how you give (credit card or checking). It's nice that it automatically fills that in on the second use, but is difficult to switch if you don't want to give using the same method later on. And, for some reason, our "Give" button isn't even showing up right now; instead, I have two "Listen" buttons. ??

Giving information cannot be hidden from anyone with access to work on app so it forces only people who have financial access to work on app. The app also does not do all that I was promised.

Ease of use and setup. It's easy to manage features and quickly make changes.

Cons

I wish there were tighter integrations with Church Management Software (CCB). Profiles should be managed in CMS, but Aware 3 forces you to create a profile then reconcile.

Add and removing app features should be allowed by the church administrator. Not all features can be managed. There should also be a "preview" feature after making changes before pushing it out to live app.

I also wish the app can get updated much more frequently.
