Customer Support

Value for Money

Bullhorn is a great CRM system, it's easy to learn and use and it has served us well so far. Our staff have picked it up easily however the odd technical glitch can be quite frustrating.

Pros

I like that the contacts, clients and candidates can all link up so you can keep track of everything and i love how you can track your recruitment process as it's happening.

Cons

We have had a couple of issues with latency in the past which has been time consuming. A lot of this happened when Bullhorn transitioned to the S Release

Pros

The platform is current, dynamic, mostly modifiable and user-friendly for someone that is comfortable with CRM programs

Cons

Bullhorn wants to be great but they are getting a bit too big for their britches. Their customer service is not intuitive and they outsource many of their other client service offerings. They should have stayed small. The group that does the importing and transferring of data is not impressive and dropped the ball numerous times.

Clean Product that Facilitates Communication for Sales and Recruitment

Ease-of-use

Functionality

Product Quality

Customer Support
N/A
Pros

Bullhorn is a Customer Relationship Management tool with a clean-and-simple design and many useful functions. Syncs well with Outlook. It can easily handle as many contacts as you need to manage with good sorting and searching capabilities, facilitating communication between Sales and Recruiting. When searching for a client or recruitment candidate, ALL of the available information is returned--so instead of just contact info, there is also a history of all their activity, including emails. Bullhorn CRM is also great for new hires because the interface is intuitive and doesn't require a lot of training.

Cons

While Bullhorn CRM is an easy to learn and use product, with the exception of the Pulse feature, it's not particularly innovative and doesn't offer any features that stand out as far as I can tell. Reloading pages and refreshing appointments can take longer than it seems like they should. However, they are making consistent improvements to the product so this could change quickly in a future version.

I think it's a good CRM option if you're looking for something other than Salesforce.

Pros

-Great place to log and track customers company-wide
-Saves time
-Helps tremendously with organization
-Exceptional customer service
-User friendly for the most part
-There is a "Task List" that is really beneficial for helping you keep track of what you need to do in x amount of time

Cons

-Not a fan of the app - it's functionality is poor
-Not all the tools that we use integrate with Bullhorn
-They're constantly making "improvements" but the improvements are not easy to keep up with

Overall, this is a great software for a company that is going to manage a variety of clients. Has great reporting features and is very easy to use.

Pros

Very simple to use and it had a lot of customization. Easy to go through candidates and jobs, easy to make placements, just easy in general.

Cons

Does not have a payroll service so you will have to pair it with another software. They are always updating to new add-ons which is great, but there are still issues that we have had open for months without solution.

Pros

Easy to use! Tedious on-boarding

Ease-of-use

Functionality

Value for Money

My company is coming from no previous software experience so even having a program to organize candidates and search, email, make notes is huge for us. However, I feel like their introductory process could be tightened up.

Pros

Bullhorn is pretty easy to use once you get all of your information in it. The search function is an excellent resource and the customization per user makes it stand out.

Cons

The on-boarding process was pretty tedious. Once you commit and sign the contract, you have to spend tons of time doing training modules, taking quizzes, and doing scheduled calls before you can even start using it. Once you finish that, you're put on a 3 week time limit to upload any and all resumes. In our case, that wasn't enough time (we're a company that had no previous candidate software so we were dealing with paper resumes, imbedded resumes in emails, etc) for us and we're likely going to have to pay for another bulk upload down the road. Also, I think there are still a few kinks to be worked out in the software and to get ahold of a customer service rep takes a lot of effort-- even just for simple questions.

Not an end to end Solution

Ease-of-use

Functionality

Customer Support

Value for Money

For customers seeking a cradle to grave setup, look elsewhere. They could not even be bothered to provide a set of instructions on how to properly place a candidate.

Pros

They are very good at selling their product. They pretend to take the time to listen to your needs, even going as far as internally referring you to the correct parties to provide you with support. However this is all gimmick.

Cons

Once you sign the contract it becomes a very different story. The “trainers” are rude, go through things at a rapid pace and refer you to YouTube videos.

They are not really an end to end solution and you will find that they do not care about working with smaller companies.

They have no customer support-so you will find yourself in an endless loop of watching YouTube videos trying to figure out how the front office and back office work-and how to integrate that into your payroll and invoicing systems.

Ease-of-use

Customer Support

Overall, I think it's a good system. It simply requires too much set up time to navigate the issues I have with it. I wish it were a bit more intuitive.

Pros

This software allows me to keep track of my clients and my interactions with them. It makes it a lot easier than keeping up with paper notes. The new planning feature helps me plan my daily activities and keep up with my own schedule. These features ensure a written report at all times as well for any needed references.

Cons

Bullhorn is person to person based, while my company focuses more on companies rather than individuals. It often feels a little redundant, as you can have the same company as a prospect, as a client, and as a default contact with no ability to merge them. It's rather tedious having to set up categories and tear sheets.

It is very beneficial and convenient that you can synchronize your Outlook calendar with Bullhorn. It helps keep handy all important meetings and tasks. In addition, there are many different tasks lists, which simplify the work itself and are very practical and useful.

Cons

Unfortunately, Bullhorn has some drawbacks that should be improved. It should be noticed that the price of the service is quite high. It requires a big sum of money from a company, but not all companies can afford such expenses. It seems that this software is designed rather for advanced companies than for small businesses or startups. In addition, there are some problems with data refreshing and it is a little bit annoying.

Pros

Cons

Cost wise you only pay for a CRM solution but you also get a job board something that is gold for recruiters, an extra job board is always welcome. It does also save time, something that most of us fail to realize it takes a couple of minutes to parse a candidate to any crm system with all the information in a resume, Bullhorn solves this by automatically parsing candidates to its system, specially if Monster.com is linked. You can save precious time and get more time to reach candidates vs parsing them.

Pros

Bullhorn is one of those software's out there that are pretty straightforward in terms of use. Great specially for those starting out in the recruiting world. What makes bullhorn great is that its not only a good end to end application tracking system but it also serves as a candidate pool of all the candidates that all the users within the company has ever entered in. Not only do you get a CRM but you also get a Job board. For recruiters like me another Job board to source on is another mine of gold. Its also great that you can link Monster.com to it. Makes parsing candidates form Monster a lot easier and saves time.

Cons

Nothing really , I just wished they had like a night mode or a livelier color scheme.

Pros

1. Full function for recruiting, keeps all information intact from parsing, screening, endorsment and placement.

2. It is great to use for multi tasking. Can open several jobs at once, can pull up multiple candidates

3. One great feature of this software would be their tear sheet. Can make a list private or public of candidates in certain location, skills or qualities that can be used for future references. You can also use this tear sheet to send multiple emails at once.

4. Bullhorn, gives you flexibility with integration. This also serves as accuracy in documentarion. If all tools are integrated, however you interact with a candidate thru phone, email or text all these will be put in on file automatically.

5. You can also open a job, and see similar jobs at the bottom of the page o look for other opportunities with the same end client

6. It also provides variety of ways to save a candidate. Either drag and drop, copy and paste or download the file. It also offers bullhorn accelerator. Where it can download profile straight from your job boards. If you want to save up with space in your drive.

Cons

1. Though Bullhorn is a very useful tool, it is never perfect. It has latency every now and then and at some point misses to capture what you have saved.

Cons

The hardest part of the software is the updates. It takes a while to be fully 100% functional after each one. Particularly the search bar will not work until it is fully updated.

Bullhorn really helps as companies grow and have a need to have everything together in one place. Bullhorn fills this need well.

Cons

The software feels a bit old and could use an update to get it into the 2018 era. It has to be refreshed all the time manually to see the changes you make.

Bullhorn is great for staffing companies that are managing a book of business and keeping track.

Pros

Bullhorn has an easy to use UI and allows you to add in resumes through drag and drop without manually entering in information.

Cons

The ease of use outweighs the things I don't prefer with Bullhorn but keeping a solidified process in Bullhorn is difficult. The lists and tearsheets are difficult to use and keep track of.

Pros

I liked that it was specific to the staffing industry- used staffing verbiage which made it simple to understand.

Cons

It was frustrating logging all my calls, emails and tasks. I felt that it was slowing down my high activity days.
