ADP Workforce Now is a human capital management solution for companies with more than 50 employees. The core capabilities of the solution include human resources management, payroll, benefits, talent management, compliance, time and labor management and analytics and benchmarking.

The fully integrated suite is built on a single database, which automates data synchronization across different components and helps users to minimize manual administrative tasks. The platform also integrates with other HR and business applications via the ADP Marketplace and APIs.

As a employee who spent much of my time on the road, ADP was easy to log in and track my payroll. It was user friendly and easy to navigate.

Cons

To be honest, I cannot think of anything that I disliked about the ADP program other than logging on could sometimes be a challenge since interenet service could be spotty in certain areas.

It has a lot of features that can work with any company. We used it as an HRIS/Payroll for a couple of years.

Cons

They made a few errors that violate compliance. Since then we switched companies and haven't looked back. When we called afterwards for some records information, they were horrible and still salty about the switch.

The program is really helpful to compliances with all the payroll and HR legal changes. The program has many reports for statistics purposes, but it is not always easy to get because you have to customize your own reports. The best for the WFN for me was the support and customer service. When I called ADP there is always a rep that help me.

Pros

Everything is in one platform(payroll, HR, Onboarding, benefits, timesheets, payroll taxes). It can be export to an accounting program (Quickbooks). The online resources are excellent.

Cons

The set up takes some time, also change the permissions required to make a call to ADP. The training for new users or managers can be a challenge if they are not tech-savvies.

I worked for a company that wholesaled Workforce Now and got to see the innerworkings of it. Great software, you just need to first learn how to use it.

Pros

This is one of the most comprehensive HRIS systems I have seen. It does a lot to make work in HR much easier from onboarding to payroll and so on. I was really happy with the many capabilities that it had.

Cons

The customer services was not very good. They other thing is that it was very hard to learn and understand how everything worked. They do have classes but they can be up to two hours long.

s very simple and hassle free.

Cons

The fees that employees incur when withdrawing money from ATMs with use of the ADP Aline card. Some people aren't able to affored a $2-3 service charge for withdrawals.

This is great for checking paystubs to see how much money you earned hourly and what deductions were taken out. It is also great because the user can link multiple jobs to the same account. I can look up work history from several different jobs all in one place.

Cons

Sometimes it is difficult to remember passwords to software like this, but in the end I was able to revcover it and access all of my data.

We run our full payroll with it. We do not use the clock in clock out as we need to use another system that integrates with our accounting package and tracks our hours to separate jobs through out the day

Pros

It can handle it all. With all of the different things required with payroll with all the different states and benefits and taxes it is impressive how it can handle it all. There are parts we just added like the vacation request part which has saved us time and added accuracy and trace-ability

There is so much it can do it can be hard at 1st to find what you are looking for and how to do it.

I have used ADP for many years and find the each upgrade adds some good and bad

Pros

ADP keeps up to date with all the tax changes; this is most helpful.
ADP understand the extensive need for reporting - especially all the government reporting.

Cons

sometimes a front-end user can not change the field name to be more suitable for the company's needs. It would be helpful if a user could link fields together

Over all is a convenient software to use.

Pros

I like it how is easy to use. The links to the support center and banking is also very convenient.

Cons

If an employee file was created twice and in one file his social security number is incorrect, but the second file has it right then the social security number can't be edit. Then both file will have to be terminated and we will have to recreated a new file number for that employee.

I tend to think WorkForceNow is trying to become a one stop shop for businesses performance reviews, timekeeping, and an information center but it isn't the most intuitive with where to find things and navigating is a bit clunky. Additionally, I haven't spent much time looking for an app for iPhone but just accessing it from my phone browser is a bit of a nightmare.

Keeping me on schedule for ACA requirements, daily updates on employee status.

Pros

With the number of employees (120) there is no way I have the time to navigate through all of the ACA necessities. It is still a lot of work, however, I cannot imagine doing it without hiring another person if I didn't have Workforce.

Cons

It is still a lot of work, I would like it to be more robust and do a little bit more of the work for me. LOL

I've been an ADP WFN customer for 5 years now and have learned a lot about the system and appreciate all the features.

Pros

ADP WFN is quite easy to manuver around the site to all the different features. And there are many useful features.

Cons

The only thing I don't like about WFN is the timeout is too soon. The end of session warning appears even while I'm actually working on an employee's screen or creating a custom report.

The portal is very easy to use, and if I have questions, ADP is very responsive. Also, I love the feature where I can set up a future phone appointment for help with something that isn't urgent.

Pros

My payrolls are not too complicated, but it seems that any option I am looking for is available.

Cons

Once in a while, I find things that are not very intuitive. These are things that don't come up often for me. If they did, I am sure it would stick in my memory.
