Chronicle Online is a cloud-based time and attendance management solution designed for large and midsize businesses. Key features include employee self-service attendance, individual and team scheduling, data recovery and reporting tools. The solution is suitable for industries such as manufacturing, agriculture, aviation, construction and distribution.

Chronicle online allows users to create reports to track employee working hours, lunch breaks, overtime, lateness and payroll information. The calendar feature helps individuals and teams to manage schedules through booking shifts, as well as recording events such as sickness, holidays and planned absences. This enables users to track and manage paid and unpaid leave and generate payroll accordingly.

The solution also helps users to create a centralized database to maintain employee records such as contact information, holiday leave, sickness and absence entitlements. Users can export reports in PDF formats.

Support is available via phone and chat. Pricing is per year.

Great product, good software backed up by helpful support.

Pros

Really intuitive to use, the functionality an ability to cross reference an generate reports with valuable information is invaluable.

Cons

Could say something along the lines of took a while to set up but worth it in the long run due to your shift complexity

Very good their Sales Director, was a nice guy to deal with and very patient. It seems like they're very accommodating to feature requests as well.

Pros

For an SME like us, this T&A software is great. Plenty of handy features off the shelf and easy to set up. It was an interesting project to work on and the free trial enabled us to buy with confidence. Our HR team are happy and it's made the tracking and logging of staff time and attendance much easier.

Cons

We're based in Australia so time difference caused a few onboarding challenges, nothing systems related though.

Much better information flow about employees and a big reduction in the time required to prepare payroll

Pros

The modern interface is easy to navigate for our non-technical users but the shift rules engine is much better than other systems we've tried. We find the software works around us rather than us having to work around it!

Cons

We would like to add some access control doors to the system, but I understand that this is on the roadmap so we're looking forward to seeing that arrive
