Front Rush is a cloud-based recruiting platform built specifically for college athletic departments. The solution allows coaches, admissions officers and compliance directors to manage their prospects, recruits and alumni. It offers customized layouts and enables users to add recruit from third-party recruiting sites.

Front Rush tracks communications with recruits and lets users add notes or share communications with other staff members. Documents can be sent to anyone to be filled out and stored directly within the platform. It offers an athlete portal that allows recruit to fill out and submit onboarding forms. Users can track recruiting efforts in a shared calendar and use the task manager function to delegate duties and assign follow-ups.

Front Rush is NCAA- and NAIA-compliant. It also offers a separate compliance officer login that shows all coach-recruit interactions and can send alerts for potential violations. Support is offered via phone and through an online portal.

Cost effective and it's ease of use. I have been working and familiar with FR contact management solution for six years now and still very impressed.

Likes Least

Not able to print the notes. I want to be able to print the notes out not in Excel format or Report format fashion.

Recommendations

Watch the tutorials that are provided because it does answer most questions. Call the Support line if needing any additional help. Always available.

Very smooth, great customer service, and an overall good product for what we need.

Pros

What I like the most is organization it provides to coaches when recruiting. Gone are the days of excel files and printing hard copies of recruiting profiles. Being a collegiate coach has evolved over the years and in order to maximize your team, you must be organized. When you're organized, you will be able to get more productive work accomplished. It is a very user friendly software and I would recommend it to many coaches.

Cons

I least like that when I add a recruit from a recruiting software such as NCSA, not all of the information goes to front rush. Often times things like intended major are left off and then I manually have to go back in to complete it. This isn't the end of the world of course but hopefully in the future the software can communicate better with one another.

How I am able to keep track of conversations and interactions with recruits. It makes communication between coaches on the same staff easier as well because I can see notes what they talked about, how they played, etc. The fact that Front Rush is able to pair with admissions software now as well takes it to a whole new level. Great addition!

Cons

The "Duty Board" on the front gets crowded and post of the time contains things that I don't need to see or do. I would rather the front page be more organized or be able to be personalized.

Love this software, makes it easy for groupings and tracking. Very easy to navigate around in and very good to communicate through. Definitely, would recommend this product to anyone!
