Designed for small to mid-sized businesses, PeopleHR provides a platform for all key HR functions, including applicant tracking, personnel tracking, performance review, and more. The system includes an employee-tracking database, that allows users to create new employee records, fill in key contact information, and store documents. PeopleHR includes unlimited document storage, so users can attach as much paperwork as necessary to each employee profile.

Within the applicant tracking module of PeopleHR, users can create new job offerings, as well as build out a custom career page that matches the branding of a company’s site. Each job posting can be completely customized. Once a candidate applies, they’re added to the recruitment pipeline, and recruiters can view all candidate information.

Within the performance module, employees can request 360-degree reviews for receiving feedback from peers. Managers can set goals for employees, and track their progress in real time. The web-based solution can also be accessed from anywhere at anytime.

Cons

Holiday Entitlements vary from country to country and some times we have to adjust the holidays manually. For example in January next year we will have to add the remaining holidays for this year as it seems that the system will not recognize or will not move the remainings holidays.
Maybe there is a way to do it. I still have to explore more the system.

A good HR system with great potential

Although I've listed more Cons than Pros the system is good and I'm enjoying using it, but its by no means perfect. As long as you go into the PeopleHR experience with your eyes open and a realistic expectations you will find the system easy to use functional and it will add value to your business.

None off my Cons are show stoppers they are more annoying than anything, but loads of annoying niggles can add up. Having used many HR systems over the years they all have quirks and limitations, PeopleHR are very proactive and I'm sure these will all be addressed in the future

Pros

The People HR platform is a easy to use and relativity simple HR platform that gives small / medium sized businesses a flexible HR solution. We've been able to get up and running in a few weeks with little intervention from the People team, which is a testament to the usability of the system. Out of the 11 platforms we looked at People gave us the best value and of offered the widest amount of functionality. The system is constantly being developed with new functions and features being added on a regular basis, due to the modular nature of the system you can cherry pick the parts of the system you need to use helping with the deployment process.

The ability to create custom forms (though the logbook) adds a unique level of on the fly customization which lets you capture additional data removing the use of third party tools.

There is a decent amount of supporting documentation (written & video content) which makes getting going really easy.

The reporting out of the system is also really solid and very flexible.

You can load your own data !!! (this is a great feature)

Cons

The custom logbook forms are good but are also very limited, and working with them can be frustrating . It can take some very creative thinking to get them to behave in the way you want, this can be very frustrating. (this feature has so much potential and more development would greatly enhance the functionality and impact the system has)

The ripple workflow engine is very "unique" and does require a solid understanding of the system to make best use of it. There isn't a "test now" button which means when you build a workflow, you have to sit about waiting to see if its worked which is time consuming and a little frustrating.

The guys on he support desk are really knowledgeable, although it can take along time to get the right answer out of them. They are prone to making assumptions about your request with out fully understanding your requirements, and you end up going round the houses.

There isn't a customer roadmap showing platform development, understanding whats being worked on would be really useful.

Training matrix offers little functionality and currently isn't very usable

After a few weeks of use you start to notice there are lot of unnecessary clicks when navigating the system, e.g. to jump between employee records takes 4/5 clicks, when making a single change across multiple records this can become very annoying.

There are parts of the system where you assume you will be able to click on something e.g. when looking at a line manager you can see all their direct reports listed, but you cant click on them to view their profile. Cant click on employee profiles from the org chart

To assign an employee goals they have to have an active performance review

You cant have goals linked / team goals

If you want to add the same goals across team you have to copy and paste each goal to every individual team member

The performance review isn't "smart" there is no ability to add weighted questions.

You cant have an employee involved in more than one performance review at a time.

No ability to plot your staff into a 9 box talent matrix using the outcome from the performance review (having to do this off system using a separate tool)

The implementation process is a little vague, with little project management from their side. e.g. handing over data to be uploaded and not being told when this will happen.

Our system training is being delivered after having the system for 2 months, we could be using elements of the system completely wrong and wouldn't know.

When uploading data into the system, the data was "adjusted" by the system during the upload process which caused a random (/nr) command to be added to all our employee addresses, I still haven't had a response as to what happened. This means i have to go through 110 employees and remove this manually....

This helps to monitor employee, useful for all HR activities, Easy and user-friendly, and the turn around time to resolve the optimization is very less
We get full support and I have come across very less downtime

Cons

The live chat executives strength is very low, every time when there is a reported bug, we should contact the Live chat team to understand. But tech team resolves it instantly. Executives should be more proficient in software

Found that PHR it quite boxy, and it's not as easily tailored to those who do not have a have a straight forward company structure.

Can create as many logbooks as one would like.
Queries update automatically.

Cons

Not able to deactivate systems that are not used.
Not suited for recruitment companies who may have 1 employee work on many different projects at once (hard to track their history).
The system is down more than we would have liked (for a time there is was every Monday).

Overall an excellent system - we are not using it to its full potential yet but look forward to rolling out lots more features soon.

Pros

All the useful features, consolidating all HR documents and reporting into a single system. User-friendly, excellent app. Excellent help function and quick help responses via live chat.

Cons

A few of the ways you can view data are a bit clunky and could be made clearer - eg. it would be nice to view the calendar for the full year in one glance, without having to click into each month and each person to see the full range of holiday booked.

I like the product , it's easy for someone old like me & definitely recommend it. Not sure of your prices as I'm not involved in that area but one thing for sure is that I like the fact it's environmental friendly & paperless

Pros

As a regular employee with no specific responsibility, I found the site easy to move around. I realy like the fact for self employed purposed with my other job that I can look up how much I have earned with company under you.

Cons

Whats needed as a secure password, I know for extra security but an old woman like me we so many passwords for this that & the other you soon forget.

Having a team of people you can speak to online is much easier than having to call a customer support team.

Pros

I was helped very swiftly and had both of my queries answered in a concise and effective way.
The person was polite and offered even more help than I needed.

Cons

I couldn't initially find the option to take a different type of leave. I hunted around for a while but it seemed fairly hidden.

Pros

Easy to use. Easy to build queries and pull MI. No training required for basic employee use. Well laid out and responsive.

Cons

I can't think of any! This really is a fabulous system. Maybe good to rename the "Sick" row in the Calendar to "Absence"?

Really appreciate all the support from the customer service team, they have been excellent and very patient!

Pros

Lots of features, calendar integration, quick and helpful customer support, great reporting feature, ability to customise all of the various permissions, useful mobile app.

Cons

Would like to be able to use our company branding and logo more to really personalise the platform. The data migration wasn't too painful a process but it would be great to have the ability to do more than one main upload so you can start using the platform quickly and then add more of the historical data in bulk uploads later. Would also be good to have a live chat feature between employees. Lastly be good to have more of the features available on the mobile app.

Extremely easy to use compered with Cascade and Select HR - superbly simple, great graphics and makes information simple to see at a glance.

Very easy to build new pages, no formal training needed to pick system up as there are how to guides. Definately a winner for me.

Cons

Would be better if Holidays could link in to Microsoft365 Calendar as integrated, not as a separate planner.,

A decent HR system - glad I made the switch

I find the system is good but there is a lot of groundwork to put in before staff can go live on it. The accrual rule only working going forward is also a little annoying when building a length of service rule and then having to still manually work out the holiday allowances.

Pros

- Simple interface once understood

Cons

- Sometimes chat can seem impersonal when an article is dumped in the conversation after having spent a little while writing a problem up
- No customer feedback for layout/build as of yet
- No automatic update on the launch page, so have to update every time you log in

MFA is easy with PeopleHR

PeopleHR cares about their customers and it shows with how easy it is to drop them a line; just open chat box once logged in found bottom right, input your issue, supply an email and they will get back to you shortly.

Pros

My account is secure on PeopleHR with MFA - customer service acts fast if an issue arises. I like that it's easy to backdate for holidays taken as well in case of taking time off due to emergencies.

Cons

A method to reset MFA yourself does not exist yet. The time-off icon on calendars is denoted by a plane which doesn't always make sense.

Excellent software and functionality - ability to shape to meet your processes
Well priced and great value for money - reduced the cost of annual leave administration to the extent that it goes along way to paying for the annual cost of having People
Customer support is better than I have every experienced - attentive and want to listen to feedback on how they can further improve their product
Ease of use - often, systems are 'sold as intuitive' and pleasingly this is true with People

None..............I have very satisfied employer and employees which makes me happy and gives me time to focus on other areas

Cons

Queries can be very confusing and you can't order the columns of information.
We can't use all the functions because they don't work for our structure.
Encouraging staff to use the 'signature' function is a struggle.

Generally pretty pleased with it, and as a simple tool for managing your HR admin it is good.

Pros

It's pretty easy to use, and the interface works well.

Being able to get staff to e-sign documents means that you can get agreement that they will follow Company processes, etc.

Little things like giving the Bradford Factor for staff helps with monitoring staff absence.

Cons

Somewhat limited functionality, although it is perfect for what we do

People HR pulled our disparate HR tools from an intranet, spreadsheets and various folders into a single location.
As a SaaS, the value for money is great. The team were very helpful in getting the software set up and it supports most aspects of the business that we run.
There are REST APIs that we are starting to use to allow for anything "non-standard" and these are starting to be used in our organisation.
All in all, it really has helped our business.

Pros

It will cover almost all aspects of HR requirements including timekeeping, holidays, reviews, contracts.
There are some use and "fun" metrics that you can take away about your company from the dashboard.
Line managers receive regular alerts about their teams.
It's a fantastic price for the product.

Cons

Although there is a mobile app, it does need some work.
Timekeeping for employees is flexible, but actually recording time is long-winded.
The UI is simple and straightforward in some areas, but feels a little awkward in others
