TimeClick by Hawkeye Technology is an on-premise time and attendance system for small to midsize businesses. The solution serves a wide range of industries including banking, engineering, health care and retail.

With TimeClick, employees can clock in and out themselves by selecting their name from a customized menu and entering their password. The solution is also capable of clocking time for breaks, lunch and other ad hoc initiatives. To ensure the times recorded are accurate, TimeClick offers a feature called “Workstation Sync Time;” which allows each computer on the network to automatically synchronize their clocks to one computer. Administration mode within the software provides password-restricted access to the entire data and is accessible from any computer on the network.

All new users are provided with 30 days of free support to assist in the initial implementation of the program. After that, businesses can choose either an annual support plan or a “per incident” fee plan. All support requests are handled by a United States-based team and can be reached via telephone or through TimeClick's website. For additional assistance, multiple videos are offered for walkthroughs of the software.

TimeClick is suitable for companies looking for an on-premise time and attendance software that operates on a Windows operating system.

IT Support Technician

I work as a third party IT support for a Dental office that uses the TimeClick software and they have not had any issues for the 3 years or so I have been supporting my client with the software. We manage the database created by TimeClick and updates and migrations have all gone smoothly. Each Time I've needed to call for support I am on the line with a person very quickly and technicians are knowledgeable and friendly. Updates and moving to new servers is quick and easy. Be aware that updates and migrations should be done during support hours as you need a registration code. Chat support is a fast and easy way to get answers to upgrade and migration questions as well as emailing support directly at support@timeclick.com

Pros

As part of a third party IT provider we do not personally utilize the software but updates and software setup is excellent. We did not have any issues moving from windows 7 workstations to windows 10 which is always helpful.

Cons

No cons from the IT perspective, no calls from users about issues with the software

TimeClick is Easy!

Pros

There is nothing better about TimeClick than how easy it is to use. That is true whether you are a non-exempt staff member, clocking in and out every day, or if you are the office administrator, working in the administrative mode. Clocking in and out? Easy! Adding a new user? Easy! Fixing a user error? Also easy! The product is so user/administrator-friendly that it can't be overstated. It does not require much training; just give a user their password, and they are off to the races. It couldn't be simpler. Customer support is always very responsive and helps us address any issues that come up, and there are very rarely any technical issues. We have been using TimeClick for several years now, and it has been more than worth the small cost of the product to be able to accurately track the hours (and overtime) our employees work each week. When we first started using the product, we were worried how easy it would be and whether the staff would use it effectively. We needn't have worried; TimeClick makes it easy for employees to clock in and out, as well as check their own time to avoid going into overtime.

Cons

I wish the reports were easier to print and more readable. They are probably the worst thing about TimeClick, but they are acceptable. I can't think of anything else I dislike about it. It occasionally stops working properly and simply needs an update or to be reinstalled. Frankly, I don't know exactly what happens, but it always gets fixed quickly by a quick call to customer support. It seems like it might happen every 6 months to a year.

Easy time tracking software!

Pros

With so many people working different hours it is so nice to be able to keep track electronically! This way no one forgets to turn in their sheet and it is so easy to clock in and out

Cons

It is hard to track vacation/sick time on the app so that is kind of a bummer but we have other ways of tracking that so we make it work.

TimeClick review.

Pros

It was very simple to install and easy to use. They have really excellent customer support. Also easy to install on different workstations and train new staff on.

Cons

I wish it offered a few more report features, and I really wish it would do calculations of 'other time" as part of PTO accrual which would make it work better for my salaried employees.

We had a dental software issue. During the repair it broke our TimeClick. Therefore, we had to call

Time Click saves us a tremendous amount of time. Before we started using it we had the old time clock. And every payroll I had to figure every day and wekk for each employee. This is so much easier and time saving.

Pros

TimeClick is very easy to use. we literally have not had any issues until our recent problem. When I had the issue last week our rep was very efficient and helpful

Cons

The thing that I like lease is that I paid for a quick under 1 minute fix. It would be nice if the charge was based on the time spent.

Solid software, great product

Recently moved the time click database to a new server, had a few hiccups, but nothing customer support couldn't help us through. As usual, the customer service is quick to respond and eager to help. Keep it up and we'll be a customer for a long time.

TimeClick is a solid product

TimeClick is easy to use on the client side and has been a very stable product, from an IT perspective. The user interface is not complicated, or cluttered. Our billing manager is able to consistently access reports and manage users with ease. Support has always been very helpful ( the handful of times I've ever had to call ) and have quickly addressed any items that have come up with the program, which has typically been during upgrading the product to input a new license key. Great product.

Wholeheartedly have and will continue to recommend TimeClick

Our small law firm has utilized TimeClick for all of our timekeeping needs for approximately two and one half years now and it has been exactly what we were looking for. TimeClick is perfect for any small business looking for a more efficient and better timekeeping method that is not going to break the bank and does not require an advanced degree. TimeClick was easy to install and incredibly easy to use. We just downloaded the main program on our server and then put the local installation on the individual employee's computers. At the end of the pay period, we simply print out the payroll report and send it to our payroll company. It is just that easy. It also aides us in tracking paid time off as it has a function for that as well. Thus, we can properly identify what were hours actually worked and what was vacation or sick time so that we do not needlessly pay overtime when the same is not warranted. I am fairly certain the program has paid for itself in this respect. TimeClick also has terrific technical support where you talk to a real person who is responsive to the caller's skillset and who is willing to listen to what you have already attempted before forcing you to repeat steps that have already failed before the call, saving time and energy. I wholeheartedly have and will continue to recommend TimeClick to my clients, colleagues, friends and neighbors. In fact, labor law is one of my specialties and I always recommend TimeClick to my labor law clients who have do not have a good recordkeeping system in place as it is a painless way to aid in complying with the law. You will not be disappointed.

Pros

I like that this system provides multiple reporting options and has a large variety of options for customization. The support staff goes above and beyond to help when necessary.

Cons

It would be helpful to be advised if and when there is an update available. Otherwise, no complaints!

Great Tech Support and Always adding things we need to the program itself.

Tech support is great, always there to help and they have added features our HR department has requested

Cons

Just little things, but nothing with the software itself. HR is always wanting it to do somehting else and you guys(non gender specific) are always willing to listen and have actually added some of our requests.

TimeClick is an awesome value for our dental practice!

The TimeClick staff was extremely helpful. It was a seamless integration from sales to installation to training. I would highly recommend this product!

Pros

I love that we own TimeClick Software and that it does not require updates or maintenance to use. It was very cost-effective to purchase and required very little training to incorporate into our practice.

The new version is so much better than the older version.

Pros

Program is so easy to use. I love that the overtime is now shown on the same report as the hours. It use to be on a separate report.

Cons

When you have to manually enter a persons time, it takes a little longer than I would of expected, but still not bad.

Pros

Payrol management got easier with the TimeClick. It help us CA to see employee working hours and they generate the pay accordingly.

Cons

The payment summary reports can be viewed anytime within the system. Track hours and provides a full monthly summary.

Dependability and support is very good. Ease of operation is good. Support people of very good. Fairly inexpensive.

This well written, easy to use program helps us track our overtime and improves employee compliance.

Employees tend to be more compliance with time and attendance policies. We primarily use it to track overtime and who is on-site.

Pros

Ease of use and recovery from most system errors. The software lets everyone see who is in, making the in/out board obsolete.

Excellent, Accurate, and User-Friendly Software!

Pros

This software is excellent! It took HR and non-exempt employees no time at all to figure out how to use it. It is easy to use and accurate. The reports are comprehensive and clearly print necessary and pertinent information based on what it is you need. It makes processing payroll easy and quick. It only takes a couple of clicks to make adjustments to employee's time when necessary; for instance, if the employee forgets to clock in/out for lunch. So easy!

After many years of using traditional time cards and a time clock, this is a breath of fresh air!

Customer Service is excellent. From day one we have received great service. We can call or email anytime and get answers we need.

Cons

There is really nothing so far that we do not like; or maybe we just have not discovered it yet. We are very pleased with the software.

I Love TimeClick and it's customer service
