BusinessMind for Jewelers is a cloud-based jewelry inventory control solution that caters to the needs unique to retailers selling and repairing jewelry. Key features include a point of sale system, business intelligence (BI) and accounting and customer relationship management functionalities.

BusinessMind’s point of sale offers support for layaways, trade-ins, repairs, commissions, multiple payments, multiple currencies and more. Its inventory management application allows users to maintain a perpetual inventory. The solution's built-in search engine, Indy Search helps users to find the sale, item, contact or interaction using various search tools. Search results appear in a table with capabilities to customize rows and columns. Indy Search also allows users to export spreadsheets to use in Numbers, Open Office, Excel or Google spreadsheet.

Additionally, the solution supports integration with multiple ordering modules and RFID or barcode scans of physical store inventory. BusinessMind for Jewelers also offers integrated functionality for customer management.

Services are offered on a monthly subscription basis that includes support via phone, email and online FAQs.

Have been using it for several years. Too disruptive to change, but deeply regret going with them to start.


Has both retail and wholesale management tools.


The owner does not understand customer service. They charge exorbitant amounts for custom programing of common items that should be user defined. They nickel and dime at every juncture. They do updates that remove features and then charge to put them back. The service techs are good guys, but hamstrung by a greedy and unpleasant owner.
