3G-TM Software


 

3G-TM is a cloud-based and on-premise transportation management solution that is suitable for shipping and third-party logistics companies.

It features order management, freight audit and payments, reporting and others. The solution helps to manage the complete transportation lifecycle, including rating, routing, tendering, track and trace orders and manage settlement. The contract management module provides features such as discount and incentive management, accessorial and fuel surcharge management.

The reporting feature helps the user to manage and share details about the items, orders and shipments with vendors, partners and customers by using customized dashboards.

3G-TM also provides capabilities to manage the pricing of profiles and request for proposals (RFP) responsiveness with a batch rating and analysis capabilities. The less-than-truckload (LTL) rating includes a batch rater, which can rate the carrier and non-carrier tariffs and rate applications to create spreadsheets, print or import into applications such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) and transportation management system (TMS).

I would recommend 3G-TM to medium sized shippers.

Pros

Streamlined process from Load creation to invoicing. Reporting tools looked great. Clean dashboard and easy to follow workload.

Cons

Did not have a dock scheduler. One of the many needs listed during the scope of the TMS project. That was the dealbreaker.

The number of features, reporting portal, connectivity options, transport planning and execution, optimization tools are extremely efficient and user friendly.

Cons

BI tools need further refinement. Optimization tool need to be part of the main system. Routing maps need more clear representation.
