About MX Merchant

The platform enables administrators to verify the availability of funds and track approved as well as declined payments. Wish we would’ve switched sooner

Overall, we are saving money and we are happy with our experience with this!

PROS

We use this software to process payments for our business each day. We’ve been saving a lot of money each month through using this processing system. The set up was easy and customer service has been great.

CONS

The receipts that our clients receive do not look as professional and “put together” as other payment processing systems we’ve used. Their website is also not mobile friendly, but perhaps they have an app for administrators that I’m not aware of.

Reason for choosing MX Merchant

Saving money and ease of use.

Reasons for switching to MX Merchant

We wanted to save money and Square didn’t give us a competitive rate.

Straightforward, Mid-Level Merchant Service

PROS

MX Merchant was provided to me as a component of my pay process which included primarily Authorize.net. It integrates very well and error-free with Authorize.net and deposits are reflected in your pending balance almost immediately, which is useful for projections and planning.

CONS

The funding times are a bit on the slow side sometimes, but nothing really slower than what most other providers of this type offer. The setup can be a bit confusing if you aren't used to not being the one to do everything. It is really more of a hands-off approach in my experience, from the user's end, which I found wasn't communicated too well to me. However, after setup, all has run smoothly since then.

Easy to use

PROS

I know I don't use this product to it full potential. All I can say is compared to our last merchant account this is much easier to use on both the charging side and the banking side. They are quick to get money in your account. Fees are low. Easy to learn.

CONS

I don't have an complaints at this time.

MX Merchant-Priority Payment cheated me out of $886

PROS

MX Merchant-Priority Payment cheated me out of $886

CONS

Their security system was breached. I had nothing to do with it and still can't understand why this is costing me $886 when I did nothing wrong!!!! When I log in I have to get a 6 digit code on my phone to get in thru the 2 step verification: how did the criminals get in without this code? I sure didn't give it to them. I have been a customer over a decade and thru a few ownership changes and I can't believe I am being treated this way. My time has been wasted and my money has been taken without a fiar reason and no means to appeal this arbitrary decision of yours to keep $886. It was Priority-MX Merchants security that was broken into. When [sensitive content hidden] called and said she would work on getting the money back, I thought it was more of a formality. No one has explained why I should have to pay, where it says in the contract that you can charge me for this. I called once the account was closed and set up a new account. I will be contacting my lawyer about this matter (another waste of time and money) and will post this letter on all available social media platforms. Your decision and the way it was handled was terrible. I have now found a new processor whose fees are lower and hopefully I can save enough there to cover the cost of you screwing me over. You should be ashamed of you the way this was handled not to mention this was just bad business.

Funny customer support

PROS

I liked the good rates, thats why I switched and reimplemented my system with them

CONS

We never was happy with the portalLast but worst we changed bank account, the portal didn't worked to update the new bank account, I called in waited on hold.... and they told they are putting on hold the money until we verify the new bank account, after a few weeks of making us crazy with verification, they deposited the funds in the closed bank account, and they do not even have a note that it was on hold, and they take no responsibility
