The Perfect Payment Processing Option for Small Business
My overall experience is A++ since I am able to accept and process payment at a fraction of the cost and without costing me more time and effort.
PROSUsing this software for a couple of years now I really like the ease of use and how it's transferable between all my devices. I am able to access reports, process payments, and more from the mobile dashboard or my PC. It doesn't require that I have or use any additional products or equipment for function. They have very friendly and knowledgable customer service and support. I love that you are able to integrate Square into other systems for a more robust system.
CONSI wasn't able to really pin point anything that I didn't like or enjoy regarding the software.

Because if checked off more of the boxes for what I was looking for and the cost was Amazing.

Convenient and Essential for Payment Processing
I appreciate the free card reader and the ease-of-use and integration with online payment processing. Payments always reliably went through.
CONSI had to switch to Stripe because I am not able to use it internationally

Square: The Good and Bad
They were my first choice in the beginning, but after the 2 disputes and how bad they handled them, I went back to PayPal. I still keep them for some of my less conventional clients (the ones who don't want to/ or can't follow a link, but rather just give me their info over the phone).
PROSIt's easy to use. Your favorite device becomes your POS which is convenient especially for those of us who do work on the road. You can get instant deposit with an extra fee which is nice.
CONSI don't like their customer service. You have to pay extra to be able to call their customer service number and even if you do (because I did the trial for premium service), they don't really resolve anything. I also don't like their dispute process. You get very limited time to submit your documentation proving the transaction was valid. Some paperwork takes a while to get from clients. AND...they allowed a couple of clients to dispute charges that were from the year past, which I still don't understand. The worst part of the dispute process is that they'll take the money from your account and then take forever to return it. In both my cases, I had to pay the premium service to be able to talk to customer service, which got me nowhere and then had to email the dispute team with additional information (which you're not supposed to do since they have a form you fill out through the portal). And then, if you have customer who makes purchases for the same amount...you can't do instant deposit because they'll hold the funds to make sure you're not ripping people off even though you've demonstrated to be a credible and reputable business.

Great Mobile Payment System
When I started my business 5 years ago, my friend recommended me to use Square for payment system. It suits my business needs. I don't have a retail shop and I don't need a POS. However when the customers want to make payment by card while they are in the vehicles, I have to accommodate this. It was a very easy set up. I just bought a device, sign up, connect it with my phone/iPad then it ready to take business. Less hassle and cheaper compare to EFTPOS from the bank.
PROSSmall and sleek device that easy to carry anywhere, user friendly, various features as payment options for customers and seller.
CONSOften doesn't works well with Apple products
