    Best update in years.

For many years now, the company I manage has been using Apple devices, and Big Sur has fulfilled our expectations by far.

    Pros:
The update came with a total redesign of the interface, when using it makes you feel that it’s a totally new computer, even if it’s the same one you have used for years, the design of the dock, icons and the sounds are incredible! I don't regret having updated.
    Cons:
Negative points there are hardly any, and if there are, they are insignificant details like not being able to add the calculator to the widgets for example, and I’m being as neutral as possible. But it really is all very good in this update.

Reasons for switching to MacOS Big Sur

    For update reasons.

    Cons:
There were a couple different things that weren’t supported by older Macs that I was kind of disappointed in but when you upgrade software, are you obviously have to leave out some older hardware

I want to be as neutral as possible, but I really don't find anything negative about this OS, I really loved it.

Reasons for switching to MacOS Big Sur

I updated to Big Sur by the logical fact of being updated, and also because in every video and review I saw/read, everyone agreed that Big Sur was a great and gorgeous system.

It is a very good operating system, very comfortable and reliable. But you have to take into account the uses that you will give it, and buy the version you need, thinking that you will not be able to expand the memory or modify it

It is a very stable operating system, obviously as many know, it does not have problems with viruses, it is very safe, and unlike what I thought it is compatible with many applications, which was the biggest fear for me.
    Cons:
First of all, it is obviously very expensive. It cannot be expanded, so from the beginning you have to evaluate well for you to use it. And if you are going to use it for games, forget completely, you just want a very expensive grill.

I’m very satisfied with big sur, the update settled very well and it’s very pleasant to use. The new icons rocks, the new sounds (like when the bin is emptied) too. Also things such the hot corners (depending on which corner you stand, the system do something different) are really good points.
    Cons:
As for the negative, I can only talk about the battery life, it dropped considerably compared to Catalina (previous macOS version).

I love that Mac OS X is built on unix so that I can run almost any code that is designed for Linux natively on my computer and use the terminal as if I was running a Linux machine, except that the user interface and supported apps are much more comprehensive.
    Cons:
Sometimes the development tools can be a pain to set up and will occasionally get messed up with a major update.
