Working with documents made easy!

I'm pretty sure that it's important for everyone in this day and age to save as much time as possible performing mundane tasks that usually take a lot of time. Working with documents was one of the most tedious and time-consuming tasks for me before. All the scanning, printing, highlighting are hard if you don't have software to take care of it all. This particular one has all the important features collected in one place, and that's just great.

PROS

It's convenient in terms of being multifunctional, yet simple enough for a newcomer to adjust to it without too many problems. I think the main functions that helped me the most are scanning and annotating. Easy to comprehend and pretty useful for working with documents, all on my phone.

CONS

Not the biggest fan of the various versions of this app being different from one another - based on which operating system you're using. For a person who uses devices with different operating systems (like me), it's not always the most convinient thing in the world.

Reasons for switching to Document 365

The software couldn't be installed on Mac, which was a crucial criteria for me, since I use Mac for work

Platform for many purposes

Well, I had to use way more apps and gadgets in order to get what D365 offers before, such as fax machine for signing documents, scanner, different apps for reading and editing PDF files. Now I can scan with D365, look through the files, edit them, sign documents online. For me, this is optimal software for the size of my small business.

PROS

What I like about Document 365 is its multi-functionality, which is essential to me since I usually install tons of apps for different tasks, and it's getting pretty old. This app combines several useful functions, and I really like having quick access to all of them at once. Apart from that, D365 has a great syncing function and it's pretty convenient to work on different devices.

CONS

Sometimes it's confusing that different versions (for Apple, Windows) have different features. It's not always convenient when I can do something only on desktop version, for instance. But generally, it's not a big problem.

Reasons for switching to Document 365

I was looking for something with more functionality.

Document 365 - for any task

I thought that working with PDFs would be more complicated. Sometimes it'd take me a while to start working only because it was such a complex routine for me - to scan a document, then add it some program on my desktop, convert, edit, convert again and so on. But now all these can be done in one single software, which is honestly pretty great.

PROS

It's great that I can convert files right in the app, as well as a couple of other things that really help me out. For instance, compressing a PDF file that's too large or adding annotations and watermarks. The app comes in real handy when I'm both working and studying. I use it for work almost every day when dealing with documents, and for university as well (working on various projects, etc.)

CONS

I think it could be simplified a bit. It took me some time to adjust to the interface, but it may be because of the amount of features in this app. Anyways, I think would prefer it to be a little bit less useful and more simple instead.

Reasons for switching to Document 365

It's weird that a program for working with PDFs doesn't have a reader function, and SODA doesn't. It was the one thing that I really needed, so had to switch to something else.

Simple app with many features

First of all, the subscription isn't expensive, which is important for a small company like mine. Second of all, the platform has a business version as well, so you can either get the individual or business subscription. I think both versions have a good deal of useful tools (we've tried both). We use the regular D365 version and it helps us with time-management, we use less paper and things just get done faster in general.

PROS

Document 365 has many good features, so it's hard to choose something in particular. I have to say, though, that the simplicity of the app is what really got me hooked. Lots of useful functions, such as editing PDF, splitting/combining, signing documents easily and attaching voice notes are also available. All the tools work well, the interface isn't too complicated, which is great. In addition, it's compatible with many operating systems and devices - which is a big bonus for me. I find it really advantageous when dealing with clients or partners with different preferences concerning operating systems, for instance.

CONS

The only issue I can think of is that the platform doesn't support other formats besides PDFs. I know that it was designed specifically for working with PDF files, but I would be glad if in the future more formats were added.

CONS

The api function could be more rich. Hope its stability and response time could be better int the future.
