About Fotor

Fotor is a photo editing and graphic designing solution that helps businesses create cards, invitations and fliers and add special effects to images. The application enables professionals to adjust colors, crop and resize photos, apply filters, modify lighting and blur backgrounds via a unified platform.

Fotor provides a collection of stickers, allowing users to apply them to images or cards and use images as sticker backgrounds in designs. It offers a variety of other features such as a drag-and-drop interface, customizable templates, data import/export, image library and more. Additionally, designers can add custom text to designs and share them across multiple social media platforms.

Pros:

VEO3 has been added, along with lip-sync, with the option to upload audio files. The UI improved, so it's now easier to use and more organized.

Cons:

The cost has increased. There is not enough warning or documentation, such as a tutorial, before new features are added.

All the Absolute BEST...As Long as You Keep Feeding The Corporate Kitty

One of the coolest programs I've ever had access to, but also the most frustrating because it's like you're always having to payup to continue to have complete access to all features all the time.

Pros:

I love the quality and variety of what you can do with the program, AND the ease of use. In terms of raw capability it's the absolute best graphic design program I have ever used. I'm a volunteer with a local history society and museum, and writer of historical stories about our town. The programing we could do with full, unlimited access to this program boggles the mind!

Cons:

But I absolutely HATE the stupid, and greedy credit charge system for the use of AI. It penalizes and limits accessiblilty of program features on the basis of ability to pay. Yet another company that treats those of us who've got fewer resources like less valued customers. It's almost misleading to say this program can do this, this and this...and then say, oops - except you only get to do it once or twice because you're poor.

Reasons for choosing Fotor

Ease of use, and the quality of the AI capabilities was superior to all, especially Pictory.

It does everything so easily ... literally! (If you can afford to keep working.)

Sadly, don't bother unless they've changed

Put simply, I quit using it. The credits saved were often lost and would not replinish even if I followed the rules specified. Also, the images created were on the low end of quality. Not impressed.

Pros:

It was my first foray into AI generated pictures. It was fun to see what it would or could create. It was almost gamified, in that you could gain credits over days and save them to create more pictures.

Cons:

Gaining credits over use, or lack thereof, seems like a great idea. However, it became really frustrating when I ran out of credits and the image created was not even close to what I was wanting. Frustrating!

Fast Edits Without the Hassle

I mostly use Fotor when I need quick touch-ups or simple visuals for internal materials. It’s the kind of tool that really comes in handy when I don’t feel like opening heavier software like Photoshop.

The filters and basic editing tools are easy to use and super fast. I also like the templates—they give me a starting point whenever I need to create something in just a few minutes.

Cons:

When I need precision, I quickly feel its limits. Some adjustments lack finesse, and the advanced options are a bit too basic for professional-level work.

High-quality image generation

Fotor offers a number of image styles and did well with different cartoon styles. It struggled with generating Ghibli style images, but for other purposes it was very useful. The similarity control for image to image generation was quite accurate and responsive.

They didn't accurately generate images based on the reference images and prompts. They were also not good at certain image styles such as bobblehead toy, Pixar style, Ghibli style, etc.

My go to AI Tool for making Content Videos

Good and the best one out there for the quality of work, I have always been happy with my end results, and sometimes even shocked at just how good the project turned out

It gets better every week or at least every time I use it, and is very good value for the money

Cons:

It should be easier to make transparent Backgrounds in all projects

Reasons for switching to Fotor

While it seemed Canva offered more it was harder to learn and understand, also Fotor is worth the money and seems to care about the customer, if something works it improves it without changing it, as in how to use the feature this is for me is the real winner if I am trying to get a Video done in an hour, and switch to fotor to give the video it a unique look, I do not have time to learn how it works, every time I go into fotor it is the same all features do what they say.

Fotor's Got Something for Everybody, Novice to Pro

It's very easy to use. It's really nice they have a reward system for engaging with the community and participating. I like the AI image generator a lot for the types of clients I typically work with. I find myself coming back and using the tools every week which says a lot in a very crowded space.

Great set of tools and preset styles. There are a lot of image generators out there. Fotor is a nice blend of many of them, with a community and daily rewards which keep me coming back.

Cons:

There are almost too many choices. When you login to the main home page, for someone with ADHD, it's really overwhelming. I get to the tools I use often and then I'm fine. Talk about decision overload though?

I'm using it in the mix with all of these. I haven't picked a single suite yet because they're all evolving so rapidly.

Seriously going to blow your mind!

awesome besides the coins not being included in the pro plan.. ive been a loyal subscriber as well as a walking billboard and free advertising becaseu I tell Everyone! I feel alittle under values when I can afford to generate a video i or try a new feature because I dont have enough tokens but Im a pro planner. That sucks.

I enjoy experimenting with FOTOR. A good Intro App to AI

Overall, I like using the watercolor and monet style enhancements. There are other enhancements that I enjoy as well such as the clay modeling AI style features and others. It's fun to experiment with different style variations of which FOTOR has a wide range. I feel that for the monthly fee I pay, I should get more credits however.

I enjoy the variety of styles available to create variations of my art.

Cons:

Their colorization algorithms always add reddish tint on the teeth of people who are smiling. I have to go in and desaturate all the smiles on people in the restored photos FOTOR has colorized. Also, young male faces that are enhanced with various styles too often skew female with heavily lashed eyes and pouting lips.

Reasons for switching to Fotor

Fotor had drag and drop photo/image editor that is much easier to use.
