It's easy to use until you find a problem and want to stop using it automatically.

In the past it has been easy to use and when it erroneously listed my contribution as monthly, quickly corrected it and refunded the contributions that I had not intended to use.

I thought it was a good way to make a donation for Bernie Sanders.

As described above, prior to the requirement that overseas Americans provide their Passport Number, my experience with Act Blue has been positive.

Specifically, I appreciate that the contribution forms have an intuitive interface and are customizable whether you are an administrator or user.

Because he was not clearly I was checking our credit card charges routinely and noticed repeated charges by ACTBLUE in ever increasing amounts.

For example I donate your auto bond and I received your monthly magazine what you’re doing with my money and how they’re helping wildlife.

They have absolutely the worst record I've ever encountered in correcting charging errors.

It's mind-boggling that disbursements are only available as hard copy checks sent through snail mail. An electronic option is long overdue.

The tool makes it easy to find specific persons or organizations for my donations. It even cancelled a recurring donation automatically when my favorite person dropped out of the race.

Easy to use, easy to stop using. A fine way to  donate to candidate(s) you support.

There is no customer support AT ALL. There is no accountability for where my money goes or mistakes in billing or donations.

Excellent way to donate. Easier than trying to locate an address to mail a check to.

Their large existing database of donor information makes it easy for donors to send a quick contribution especially with the ActBlue Express feature.

What I liked most of all regarding this software have been the features offered to its users.

I have been using them for as long as they have been around and this is the first year that I have had this problem. Are they getting too big to focus on customer complaints.

I believe it began with good intentions... to help Democrats raise money.

Deceiving, unclear, non-existent customer service.

I was charged twice and I cannot get customer service to respond even though I contacted them immediately. I am now handling through my bank.

Had to cancel the card recurring payments were being made on to stop them.

I have emailed and called several times with absolutely no response. I have had to shut down my credit card to avoid them taking any more from me.

I think they are a scam and their unscrupulous activity reflects poorly on legitimate campaign funding.

I realized Act Blue had, without my knowledge or authorization, made a recurrent contribution. All I could do was cancel future payments, but the money was already taken.

I think a lot of my criticism of the platform comes from the administrators I have access through.

I really feel as if I am being manipulated; I hate it.

That it can FAIL, and FAIL BADLY on election day.

I shopped around for software like NGP and was not able to find anything quite on its level. It does everything one needs and is easy to use.

The interface is unintuitive and slow, the data is often out of date, and repeat processes are tedious, lead to errors, and borderline infuriating.

The scope is remarkable, and I really appreciate the work that went into building it.

I've used NGP VAN in a variety of settings and capacities and it offers some of the best voter networking software available. Online phone banks are extremely easy with VAN.

Ability to rapidly ID voters by various categories - Political preference, Precinct, address.

Entering data is adequate, manipulating data is good. But learning curve to use it is steep.) ---  Mini Van is easy for a novice user to begin using it quickly, with little training.

This product is great for keeping track of homes visited through canvassing. Also keeping track of group meeting information.

It's unfortunate that in non-partisan races they will restrict usage if a candidate isn't 100% liberal.

I use NGP Van because of the ease of uploading the ActBlue donations,  and the easy Campaign Finance Report filing.

I have received as many as 40 solicitations a day with Act Blue's fingerprints on them. I routinely block further solicitations from that candidate no matter how worthwhile the individual's candidacy.

NGP VAN contains LOTS of useful tools for a local political organization. I like the homepage, and updating activist information is easy.

As the recipient of solicitations, I receive absolutely sterile, predictable solicitations with no way to establish meaningful personal contact with the candidate. I hate the tie-in with Act Blue.

Too often what is intuitive to engineers and experienced users is in fact counter-intuitive to new users. The integration with ActBlue is really great, and critical to the utility of NGP8.

I like the ease of researching voters and designating turfs for campaign.

The billing situation has been a mess for years. Sometimes invoices sent, other times not before credit card is charged.

Call lists are easy to make, as are walking lists. This is a great tool for campaigning.

Overall, it's a good program. With more and more options coming to market, I'm hoping VAN and it's newer competitors work on creating user-friendly, intuitive features.

VAN gives excellent access to voter information and is a great tool for creating phone banks and other lists.

At times (and this could have been related to the phone I was using or the signal available on my turf), the GPS was way off, showing that I was blocks or even miles away from where I was.

The cut turf feature is fun and cool and the integration with MiniVan is seamless.

I would not be a Candidate Treasurer unless we would use NGP VAN. I find the support team very responsive and knowledgable about the product.

Easy to have multiple different designations in the account. Easy to import large contact sets and good customer support for backend data edits.

Ease of voter contact and the navigation between canvassing and phone results.

Customer support blames the state regulatory authority, while offering no solutions or even a timeline for expected solutions. We're approaching the start of the third month of this frustration.
