About EasyWorship

EasyWorship is a windows-based church presentation software that helps create and share worship service, including sermon slides and song lyrics. It lets staff members preview videos, customize UI, live stream, and utilize multiple camera angles.

EasyWorship offers many functionalities for creating, managing, and delivering services online, such as prebuilt templates, automatic time detection, reminders, slideshows, and more. The platform can also be used for planning, scheduling, and managing events as well as hosting them online.

EasyWorship lets users integrate the platform with other video streaming platforms. Pricing is based on monthly subscriptions, and support is extended via documentation, email, phone, and other measures.

EasyWorship really is easy

Overall, we've enjoyed using EasyWorship. I can show someone how to run it in just a few minutes. Building schedules is a bit more complicated, but relative easy once you understand it.

Pros:

It is easy to use a schedule during a service. If something is skipped in the service, it is easily skipped in EasyWorship. Most everything is drag and drop to put it in the schedule. It works well with PowerPoint and videos.

Cons:

You cannot drag and drop motion background from just any folder on your computer. They have to be in a specific folder.

Reasons for choosing EasyWorship

It was recommended by a friend and we went with it.

Reasons for switching to EasyWorship

SongShow Plus was difficult to work with. It did not work well with PowerPoint files or video. You could not use motion backgrounds.

Easyworship is "Easy"

I've been using Easyworship 6 for several years and have recently upgraded to version 7. I wish that I would have done it sooner! I am a very satisfied customer.

Pros:

1. User friendly which is important when training new volunteers. 2. One license covers several installations at a Church, home or elsewhere. 3. Direct link to Songselect making the download of lyrics easy and automatic reporting of song usage is a no brainer. 4. Direct link to media that can be used for countdowns, song themes, scripture themes, etc. 5. On-line training videos make it easy for a new volunteer to learn the basics and more advanced features fo the software. 6, On-line streaming capability. 7. On-line support when needed is helpful. 8. The interface just works. It's so easy to understand. 9. Multiple outputs. Currently we use 3 different outputs. 10. Powerful search tool make finding worship songs or Bible scriptures a simple task.

Cons:

1. This is not the fault of the software, but the complexity of hardware and software integration is beyond the capabilities of the average user or volunteer, especially with respect to on-line streaming. There are so many options that depend not only on budget but also on the ability of staff and/or volunteers to implement it.

1. Easyworship can be used on multiple "computers". 2. Less costly than Propresenter. 3. We've invested a lot of time, effort and experience with Easyworship 6.

Helpful Interface with CCLI but Not User-Friendly

We're using EasyWorship for projecting songs, announcement slides, scripture, and sermon powerpoints on Sunday morning. I've been using the program for just over a year and it was what was being used when I took over as office administrator. It does fill our need for our services, and we now have a wealth of songs and liturgy saved within the program, making putting together those weekly presentations fairly simple. However, if someone were just starting out and choosing which program to use, I would not recommend EasyWorship simply for the fact that it is not intuitive or user friendly and the learning curve to get to the place where it is easy to use is very steep (as I observed both for myself and for a secretary at another local church who just went through that process with my help this fall).

Pros:

The best thing about EasyWorship is the interface with CCLI that allows me to import new worship songs into our presentation for Sunday morning, saving me the time of typing up the lyrics manually. And though I find the interface not very user-friendly, there is an extremely helpful wealth of "how-to" articles and videos provided by EasyWorship. When I run into a question of how to do something, I can simply google my question and the first return on the search is always an EasyWorship how-to page. Importing of powerpoints, which our pastors use to construct their sermon slides, is pretty seamless, though occasionally we run into snafus if one of the slides has a video.

Cons:

As a designer who has used everything from the Adobe suite to Microsoft Office to Google's many online programs, I have to say that EasyWorship is one of the least user-friendly programs I've encountered. I have been frustrated by things like a simple "undo" function being absent from the program until the most recent update, and menus so confusing and counter-intuitive that I spent much of my first few weeks with the program googling "how to find__ in Easy Worship" just to access basic menus. For example, editing tools for anything but your basic font options are not found in an "edit" menu but through an "inspector" button. I helped train someone new in on the software and could tell that they were very overwhelmed, as many things are not where you would expect based on previous experience with software and Apple or PC operating systems.

EasyWorship is a highly effective tool that serves as a great companion for scripture reading and praise/worship. This is a great way to attract a younger generation that loves media, photography, and photography. It's easy to use and includes a great tutorial to get you started quickly. Choir activities are now very meaningful because people can sing together, even if songs are not popular. You can also control slides while using your PC. That's amazing

Cons:

When new updates are available you need to purchase them instead of installing directly

Reasons for choosing EasyWorship

The working environment has a lot of menu sometimes you need to Google how it works before you can use it, that's annoying.

I Found EasyWorship Just in Time!

As a fairly new user to EasyWorship our first month of use has been great. There's no turning back to how we used to run our worship services! EasyWorship has made it easier for the volunteers and also the pastor.

EasyWorship is very easy to use and there are many help videos if you were to need them.

Cons:

I didn't know about EasyWorship! A family member told me about it. I wish I had discovered it or seen ads for it sooner.

Reasons for choosing EasyWorship

The price was best at EasyWorship and also had a family member who was familiar with it.

Reasons for switching to EasyWorship

The remote feature on a mobile device. Perhaps there were other ways with our PowerPoint but EasyWorship has made Sunday mornings much smoother.

Cons:

We don’t like that they changed to a monthly membership instead of buying the program for one time.

We wanted a better song data base and scripture database. We love songselect.

Easy Worship 7

Over the years it has been a very good program for our Sunday morning worship service.

Pros:

"Easy" does describe the program. I have showed someone how to use it in an emergency, and if they have a relatively good understanding of computers and programs, they can use it and run it. The video codec in EasyWorship 7 is better than having to download a couple different ones and hoping one of them works.

Cons:

I used to dislike that in the "Presentation" editor that there was no save button. That has since been fixed in EasyWorship 7 with the "apply" button. There is not much I don't like about it.

Reasons for choosing EasyWorship

We had been using it, and it still met our needs for our small church. And it is so easy to operate on Sunday morning.

Grows With You.

We have been happy EasyWorship customers for over 10 years. They continue to roll out updates to keep with the technology that is developing around them.

Pros:

The EasyWorship presentation software has grown with as a church as we have grown. We started with a single screen, added a rear screen for stage display, then added a third screen for our live stream. We even have played around a bit with and NDI broadcast. It seems to be able to adapt to any church setup. EasyWorship is a very affordable solution for churches of any size, but it's biggest selling point is the graphic interface. The drag and drop editor is intuitive and appealing to the eye. There are multiple options for how to format the main screen, so you can see exactly what you need to.

Cons:

In general, the software plays well with others. It has it's own presentation builder, but users are also able to import premade presentations from powerpoint. The scaling can be a little finicky, so the setting take some time to get adjusted just right. Occasionally, when imbedding video files into a PPT, the audio beings playing on the wrong slide. We have yet to determine if that is an EasyWorship problem, or a PPT constantly updating problem.

PowerPoint Presentation Not Working in EasyWorship

EasyWorship is a great program for our Sunday worship experience. It is easy to learn, use, and to teach others.

[sensitive content hidden], from EasyWorship Customer Support, was extremely helpful in solving my problem with my PowerPoint presentations not showing in EasyWorship when "Going Live". He was able to remote into my PC and perform a complete "uninstall/reinstall" of Microsoft365 that corrected my problem. He solved the problem in less than 30 minutes, most of that time was the actual uninstall/reinstall of Microsoft365.

Cons:

Not being able to find a solution to my problem in the "Help" section. Especially for a problem, that while not a common issue is not a rare problem.
