The easiest way to model
I've been using google sketchup since university, in a short time I was able to present my work in 3d, and I've been using it ever since, and it's been 10 years now.
PROSWhat I like most about this programme is the simplicity with which one starts modelling. In a short time you can reach an intermediate level of modelling, and there are many tutorials on the internet. If you add to this the large library of 3d objects available and all the plugins at your disposal, it is the perfect program.
CONSThe only flaw it might have is that the pro version is paid, but it's worth it.
Reasons for switching to SketchUp
The google sketchup interface is much simpler and more intuitive.

In general, while SketchUp is a flexible and easy to use 3D demonstrating programming, it may not be the most ideal decision for clients who require exceptionally exact or tweaked plans, or for the people who need progressed delivering capabilitie
PROSEasy to use interface: SketchUp has an instinctive and easy to understand interface that makes it simple to learn and utilize, in any event, for amateurs.Broad 3D demonstrating instruments: SketchUp offers an extensive variety of 3D displaying devices, including drawing, altering, and delivering highlights, making it a flexible stage for making 3D plans.Adjustable work area: SketchUp permits clients to modify their work area to accommodate their work process, making it more straightforward to work effectively and rapidly.Combination with other programming: SketchUp can be handily incorporated with other programming, for example, Revit or AutoCAD, making it a helpful device for experts who work with various programming applications.Huge people group of clients: SketchUp has an enormous and dynamic local area of clients who share assets, tips, and instructional exercises, making it simple for clients to master and work on their abilities.Standard updates: SketchUp as often as possible updates its foundation with new highlights and enhancements, guaranteeing that its clients approach the most recent plan devices and patterns.
CONSRestricted accuracy: SketchUp isn't intended for accuracy demonstrating, so clients who require exceptionally precise plans might view the stage's instruments as inadequate.Restricted customization choices: SketchUp's layouts and default settings are not profoundly adaptable, which can be disappointing for clients who require more command over their plans.Steep expectation to learn and adapt: While SketchUp is for the most part easy to understand, a few clients might find that the stage's high level elements and settings call for a lot of investment to learn and dominate.Restricted send out choices: SketchUp doesn't propose however many commodity choices as other 3D demonstrating programming, which can be a disadvantage for clients who need to trade their plans to explicit document types.Restricted delivering capacities: SketchUp's underlying delivering capacities are not quite as powerful as those found in committed delivering programming, which can be a disadvantage for clients who require exceptionally reasonable renderings.

Everything you can ask for.
I enjoy the unlimited creativity level of SketchUp. I know that I can find what I am looking for, or make it using the product. Hands down, my renderings have greatly improved because of the amount of quality 3D imaging and assets in their warehouse.
PROSI enjoy that I can find most digital files in the warehouse to complete my design. I also love the ability to adjust and adapt most products to fit what I am looking for.
CONSThere are occasions that many items are bulky and not vetted before uploaded into the warehouse. This makes it difficult to outside rendering platforms to render interiors quicker.

The Usefulness and Effectiveness of SketchUp
My overall experience with SketchUp is great. It helps me improve my skills and knowledge about construction and designing field. I am able to design houses, booth, furniture and etc. From beginner up to now that I am fluent in using this software app, Sketchup is the best app for me and I recommend it to all users who are in construction and architectural field. What is best with sketchup is you can you use it as your hobby too if you're interested in designing houses or other this app is for you. 100% effective and useful.
PROSThe most impactful to me is the User Interface (UI) it is very user friendly and easy to use. From beginner up to expert can use this product. The features are very helpful like the drafting I can pause and continue my work whenever I want while securing the designs I made. All tools are present , the perspective views and designing tools. The subscription plans are affordable.
CONSFor me, the cons are the third party sometimes it bring hassle for users as it is not the applicable third party app for us. Third party apps are not recommended sometimes and it needs improvement.

The right 3D modeling software for you
I have been using SketchUp for more than 4 years to create 3D models of our projects, I really like working with SketchUp.
PROSSketchUp has an intuitive and user-friendly interface, making it easy for beginners to start creating 3D models without prior experience. Also, it is much easier than many applications for 3D designs. I like the large 3D model library that includes a large number of 3D pre-built models.
CONSSketchUp is not as precise as some other 3D modeling software programs. This can make it difficult for users who need to create highly detailed models with precise measurements.

Made my design works very easy
Currently SketchUp is the best software for 3D modelling which is equipped with loads of features which are unavailable in alternative software. And requiring low performance while working very smooth is great. Some complications will occur if you do complex designs but for general purposes this is the best. Can be used even by a beginner without facing issues.
PROSI needed to design several buildings and used SketchUp to create a 3D model. Before I used SketchUp I thought 3D modelling was hard but with SketchUp, model was done easily and was able to experience how it would look after construction. And with 3D warehouse feature I was able to create very realistic simulation making the design process quite easier. Even as a beginner SketchUp was simple and effective tool. Got many tools to help users in modelling. Best feature is in SketchUp is walk around option which will give real life simulation how the final design will be. Also SketchUp got great plugins which will save both time and money of a designer. With 3D warehouse and extension warehouse a user can build any design using very little effort. What makes SketchUp the best 3D design software is unlike any alternative is ability to run smoothly in any computer. Most CAD software require a high-end computers with high performance system but SketchUp works fine in just any mediocre laptop.
CONSUsing SketchUp through browser was lagging and very slower compared with installed version. And I faced issues with gaps in walls and floors if you meddle with it few times. Also SketchUp need to upgrade to create complex designs because presently it's hard to do so.
Reasons for switching to SketchUp
SketchUp was very user friendly in 3D modelling and had many predesigned model which saved lot of time working as a designer.

Advanced Software for 3-D Rendering Rookies
Anytime a 2-d layout or 3-d model needs to be rendered with great detail, but faster than any computer-assisted designers are available, this program has been extremely useful. It allows us to greatly reduce our time spent wondering if a design will "work" and more time actually implementing and testing the design.
PROSI loved that this software pulled no punches when it came to number of features or the complexity of the layering, tie-point, and drawing tools. There was nothing stopping me from doing a deep-dive in to advanced 3-d modeled surfaces besides the fact that the menus are expansive.
CONSThere are no tutorials with this software, and there is also very little explicit integration into other programs that deal with rendered files (such as Adobe, Photoshop, Illustrator, or AutoCAD software). I feel like this software operates on an island- nothing interfaces natively.
Reason for choosing SketchUp
AutoCAD would have been prohibitively expensive for the number of product licenses we required. Also it's too advanced for our purposes (sketching, rather than design).
Reasons for switching to SketchUp
Adobe Illustrator licenses needed constant updating and the program was overly complex for simple mock-ups.

Best software for architects and interior designers to learn
I think this is one of the most basic 3d software you can use. Learning it is so easy that you can start building in it just after an hour of learning. And the results you can get from these are in par with the leading 3d modelling software. If you need rendered views of your project its a very good software.
PROSEasy to use.Plugins available for most of the tasks.Easy integration with rendering softwares.Light weight so can run on any computer.Newer version can run directly from a web browser without needing to install anything.A very huge components library is available.
CONSCan be limited in terms of the kind modelling you can do. Working on curves or spheres is not easy so plugins are required for that. Not good for animations or videos.
Reasons for switching to SketchUp
Those two required a lot of time to learn and model, whereas in sketchup everything is quite fast and easy.

3d design for everybody
1st time I heard about SKETCHUP was several years ago. I was looking for some fast sketching solution (preferable in 3d ) and search engine listed this program as near 1st position (and not a CAD). So, I clicked on the link and saw a fantastic piece of software. After some 8 or 9 years SKETCHUP is still on my computer. It's more poreful than several years before (form SKETCHUP 6, if I remember correctly), there are more materials, components and models (when 3d warehouse started it made a revolution of it's kind, enthusiast could show their models and companies could offer their products and services). Several things made me a follower/user of this program: simple to use, fast drawing, diferent type of finishing, cross-sections, user-friendly interface, diferent ways to achieve same results (by multyplaying or by dividing, by pulling or following,...), plenty of options and many special features that came during years. On of the first features was inserting a 3d object on GOOGLE EARTH (GOOGLE was a previous owner). That had a tremenduos effect and in short perid of time every city had many of landmarks made by SKETCHUP and inserted on maps. 3d warehouse was also an succesfull feature. Interesting feature, also, is "projection and perspective view". Changing this You can switch from "natural" 3d view to "geometrical" 3d view. This is MUST BE USED when You switch from designing to taking measures (hard to describe but imediately visible when used) Interesting feature, from a few version ago, is to match a photo. You simply load a photo (interior or exterior) and with help from program You model a 3d object, At the end You had a 3d model replica from photo with textures acquired from photo. If You are in real estate business, You understand what can be done regarding virtual demonstrations. Another nice feature is another warehouse - for extensions. With these addons You can have a completely different way of doing Your job, from drawing, designing or 3d printing. PRO version have some other usefull features that I like .DWG handling and several types of calculation, reporting (these are important part of my work with it) and exporting results. If You need a good sollution for 3d sketching, drawing or design, and You don't have time to learn a full CAD software this is software for You.
PROSSimple tu use, fast drawing, starting 3d models and 3d warehouses, extensions, textures, importing of photos and materials, finishing, rendering options, drawing/sketching options, perspective changing, components and objects designing, friendly-used interface, cross-sections, active comunity,...
CONSMany options are not visible or even expected. Without manual and (several) video tutorials many things that are simple to do You can't be done as they are not explained/offered. Switching axes sometimes is very irritating. Deleting a part of object sometimes cause un-expected results. Pushing/pulling sometimes cause small but irritating problems with surfaces.

Powerful 3D Modeling and CAD Options at a Variety of Price Points
My overall experience with SketchUp has been a positive one. I've used it to translate my basic woodworking and house design concepts into quick mockups. Very useful for me for those purposes. What's more I can see the power and utility of the software (particularly the paid tiers) for those involved in even more complex and extensive modeling projects.
PROSFor me, the thing I like most about SketchUp is the ease of use and accessibility of the software (especially the free version) for people of all skill levels. I myself have had training in various pieces of CAD and 3D modeling software; however, most of these have such a high barrier to entry. Even with my knowledge and comfort in those systems, when I need to sketch something up quickly for a woodworking project or get a basic idea down on the page, SketchUp is often the quickest way to do it. It allows me to get an idea from my brain to the screen extremely rapidly so that I can test proof of concept and quickly work out any kinks in my initial conception. SketchUp Free has a great standard feature set (model library, shapes, fills, extrusions, etc.) that one would expect from any 3D modeling software. The paid tiers go even further by integrating powerful collaboration tools and cool features like weather/temperature modeling, etc. What's more, being able to export several different file types is useful if I want to take my ideas into another piece of software. All in all, SketchUp provides a powerful (and affordable) suite of options for all user types.
CONSWith all of SketchUp's benefits in mind, sometimes its streamlined nature can be a bit of an impediment to translating ideas to "paper." Some my difficulty in this regard is owing to my primary experience in AutoCAD--the interface is just different enough that some basics are counterintuitive (to me). That said, with time and experience in the software, I was able to overcome my initial stumbles. One other potential issue to keep in mind is the fact that SketchUp Free is limited in the types of export formats it provides. To gain access to some of the more universal or software-specific file types, it is necessary to upgrade to a paid tier.
Reason for choosing SketchUp
I chose SketchUp because of its ease of use and low price (at the free tier).
