I came from a company that used Solidworks PDM and it's directly connected inside of Solidworks. Once you use PDM, you'll never go back to using Bild Ratings Breakdown 1 Ease of use 1 Value for money 1 Customer support 1 Functionality Pros: Absolutely nothing - you get what you pay for - a big headache and a lot of time wasted. Save your money. Cons: Bild is very inefficient and if you have an assembly open with the part in it, and check out the part, you can not modify it until you close down the assembly. Then you can modify the part. Bild is external and it takes 4-5 steps that take only 1 step in Solidworks PDM.
