With the educational/nonprofit discount we were given it represents an outstanding value for money. Reflecting task status is easy and visual. That helps to keep status information up to date and to anticipate problems before the become serious. Since we have people working on many projects simultaneously, the Workload view helps us to avoid overloading and expectations that can not be met. Overall we like GanttPRO for its ease of use and just the right functionalities that are important for us. Cons: The lack of checklists associated with each task. We would also need to define sequences of tasks (processes) as templats with checklists for each task. May be integration of the checklists with tasks in Google.
