- 3 stars: 544 reviews (4%)
- 2 stars: 63 reviews (0%)
- 1 star: 23 reviews (0%)

### Most mentioned pros

- Zoom Workplace provides the ability to have online meetings, either from office space or remote while also providing the ability to make or receive phone calls using the soft phone option via the app.
- I run webinars, group coaching, and training sessions pretty much every week, and being able to have everything sync up with my calendar without me having to babysit it is huge.
- It has become an essential communication tool for customer meetings, sales presentations, remote collaboration, training sessions, and internal team discussions, with dependable screen sharing and collaboration features.

### Most mentioned cons

- Additional licensing for more advanced options such as integration with H323 video conferencing rooms is more expensive and the actual ‘Zoom Rooms’ kit tends be fiddly to set up correctly as they are provided by 3rd part vendors.
- The only thing I don't like about Zoom is when you use it on your phone the connection keeps dropping during zoom meetings and you if a meeting is closed one has tomeeage the hosts and ask them to let me back in again.
- The profusion of modules (team chats, task management, calendar) overloads the user interface, which has lost its original simplicity.

### Reliable and easy to use for every day meeting

- Reviewed: August 2026
- Review source details: This review was submitted organically. No incentive was offered

Overall, my experience with Zoom Workplace has been positive. It's reliable for virtual meetings, easy to learn, and has the features I need to collaborate with teammates and clients. While there are occasional performance or connectivity issues, they haven't been major enough to affect my overall productivity. It's a tool I can depend on for everyday communication and remote work.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

What I liked most about Zoom Workplace was how easy it made communication and collaboration. Joining meetings is straightforward, the video and audio quality are usually reliable, and features like screen sharing, chat, and meeting recordings save a lot of time. I also like that everything I need for work is in one place, so I don't have to switch between different apps throughout the day. Overall, it's simple to use and dependable for both team meetings and client calls.

#### Cons

What I liked least was that it can sometimes use a lot of system resources, especially during longer meetings, which may slow down older devices. I've also experienced occasional connection issues when my internet wasn't stable, and some advanced features take a bit of time to figure out. Aside from that, it has worked well for my needs.

### Reliable daily driver for team standups with one frustrating exception

- Industry: Computer Software
- Company size: 2-10 employees
- Product usage: Used weekly for less than 2 years
- Reviewed: August 2026
- Review source details: This review was submitted organically. No incentive was offered

Zoom is my team's daily driver. We depend on it every morning. It handles standups without drama. The video reliability keeps us connected even on bad connections. The audio sharing bug is a genuine frustration. But it does not outweigh everything Zoom gets right. I recommend it for any team that needs a dependable video meeting tool.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

The video quality blew me away. My Wi-Fi is unreliable at the best of times. Yet Zoom keeps calls crisp and clear regardless. My team runs daily project standups on it. Nobody ever drops out. Nobody ever freezes mid-sentence. That consistency builds real trust in a tool. I stopped worrying about the connection and started focusing on the meeting. That shift alone makes Zoom worth it.

#### Cons

Screen sharing with audio breaks constantly. I share my screen. The audio cuts out. My team hears nothing. I restart the share. It glitches again. For a platform this established, that bug is unacceptable. It derails meetings at the worst possible moments. Zoom needs to fix this. It has been a problem far too long.

Setting up and joining meetings is simple, the video and audio quality are consistently good, and it works well across different devices. Features like screen sharing, recording, and meeting controls make it especially useful for everyday business communication.

#### Cons

What I like least about Zoom Workplace is that the interface can sometimes feel cluttered as more features have been added. Some of the additional tools aren't necessary for our everyday use, and certain settings can take a little time to locate. Overall, these are fairly minor issues compared with how reliable and easy the platform is to use.

I use Zoom Workspace every single week, multiple times a week. I like how easy it is to invite people to meetings through the integration of the outlook calendar invite creation that generates an email with all the details of the meeting, its link and tracks who accepts or not. I like the technical and customer support from the Zoom Workplace team when it comes to correcting profile information. This software allows for massive levels of collaboration and accessibility for a great price.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5

- Functionality: 3/5

#### Pros

I like the massive scale that Zoom Workplace can operate at. I recently used it for my academic conference, which required having multiple video calls ranging from 10-300 participants simultaneously, and had limited technological issues

#### Cons

The bugs that we did encounter included the actual presentation tools, such as sharing the screen, which could become significantly lagged or the sharing of multimedia through the call present audio issues for some participants

#### Reasons for switching to Zoom Workplace

My university started to use Zoom during the pandemic and has allowed us to use it ever since

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5

#### Pros

Zoom Workplace has great value for the money. Our team can either hop onto meetings with each other, or meet with our clients simultaneously without interruption of services. Zoom is so easy to use, schedule meetings through the calendar, sync with other tools such as google, etc. We have been using Zoom Workplace since 2021 and haven't looked back!

#### Cons

I don't like that I can't set up multiple meetings simultaneously through my account at once on different devices.

#### Reasons for switching to Zoom Workplace

Zoom was easier to group multiple people into a meeting. Also the whiteboard sharing features, etc.

Very useful for teaching martial arts online and hosting game nights during and since the pandemic. I find it much more user friendly than teams or any other video call service.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

I really like that it's free to use for the participants, and that you only need one paid subscription to have longer than 45 minutes. But if you really need it to be longer, you can just restart the video. Zoom is easy to use compared to all other video platforms. It's never had any bugs and they update it regularly. Never needed customer support because it just works. I like the features involved for video conferencing, makes it esay to participate and feel like you're there. Also, the email reminder are handy and links are easy to click and use and send.

#### Cons

I think some of the views could be updated. Sometimes i just want to see the host and myself side by side. The chat is sometimes hard to use on mobile. I also wish it was easier to stream background music over your "class" without it messing with the audio.

#### Reasons for choosing Zoom Workplace

zoom is just much more user friendly and it's not always trying to get you to log in - you can just hop on a call.

### Stable platform to make daily sales calls.

Zoom Workplace is very convenient to synch with clients and colleagues, particularly in an active space similar to broadcast media. There are some minor issues, such as occasional lag times or usability of the chat, but overall it has helped keep our team on schedule and connected. It is an investment you will want to make because it will help you to be productive and collaborative but you would need to make sure that your team is able to get the most out of its features.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

A whole has been a robust means of running shopper calls and workforce updates. The quality of the videos does not disappoint despite sketchy Internet connections, a problem we often encounter in our job. I also love the recurring meeting function, which enables me to be organised with my weekly client check-ins. Screen sharing works fluidly, and is paramount when looking at ad placement and campaign statistics with partners.

#### Cons

I do have little problems with audio delay with it in a few instances, which can hinder the flow of a pitch at times. Moreover, during calls, the chat feature could be improved, as it is somewhat tedious to go through previous conversation to refer to it without losing track of the conversation. Finally, if you are a smaller team, the price can become steep if not all members are making use of all features on a regular basis.

### Great app, too much AI

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5

#### Pros

Zoom is user friendly, simple, and helpful. The meeting scheduler tool is a life saver, whether I'm just scheduling meetings ahead of time and sending links, or whether you use the actual self-scheduling tool. I've made video calls everywhere from the same city to another continent and they've all been equally effective. Being able to integrate transcription apps is helpful as well. I've only started using it as the meeting coordinator/host this past month, but I've used in generally for several years to join other meetings.

#### Cons

Like many apps and services, they're pushing AI too much. Their non-generative, simple AI services like scheduling, automation, and transcribing are good, but the summaries, notes, and "AI companion" is an utter nuisance.

### Reliable for Large Team Meetings

My overall experience with Zoom Workplace has been positive. It’s reliable for our daily updates, training sessions, and any emergency meetings. Audio, video, and screen sharing are usually clear, which helps us stay organized and prepared before we start work.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

What I like most about Zoom Workplace is how easy it is for all the Agents to join the morning briefing. I work with Pitch Perfect, and we have five campaigns with over 600 sales agents, but we all use one Zoom link to meet every morning before we get on the phones. Zoom makes it simple for everyone to connect at the same time, and the audio and video stay clear even with a large group. I also like that we use it for training and emergency meetings because it’s reliable and quick to set up.

#### Cons

What I liked least about Zoom Workplace is that when all five campaigns join the same morning meeting — over 600 sales agents — the call can sometimes lag or freeze. With that many people on one link, the audio occasionally cuts out, and it can be hard to hear the updates clearly. It doesn’t happen every day, but when it does, it slows down the briefing before we start work.

### Zoom over a year of usage

It is a mature and dependable platform that has become better beyond just video calls into a broader collaboration tool. The core meeting experience is polished and reliable, and features like breakout rooms and whiteboards add real value for teams that need more than just a video feed

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

The video and audio quality was consistently strong even on less than ideal network conditions, which made meetings feel reliable rather than something you had to hope would work. The whiteboard and screen sharing tools also stood out — they made collaborative sessions more interactive and kept everyone engaged rather than just passively watching a presentation.

#### Cons

The desktop app can feel bloated at times with features that aren't always relevant to everyday use. Background noise suppression, while generally decent, occasionally cut out parts of speech in noisier environments which became distracting mid conversation

Overall, my experience with Zoom Workplace has been great, it's a tool that I use multiple times a day. It makes remote work, collaboration with other engineers, and other common workplace tasks extremely easy to perform.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Zoom Workplace offers some of the most consistent and reliable video calling functionality that I've used. Its audio cleaning is truly impressive and completely eliminates background sounds ranging from barking dogs to lawnmowers. I frequently use it's integration with Google Calendar to ensure that all of my meeting invites automatically have a video call link for people to join from.

#### Cons

Users who join a call after a chat message has been sent can't see it. It would be great if chat messages sent before users joined could be seen by them as this can often be a way that links and other materials for that call are shared.

Zoom has proven to be an incredibly reliable and helpful tool for connecting with partners and colleagues across the globe. The ability to collaboratively work on projects and connect through Zoom makes teamwork a breeze. I plan to continue using Zoom for the foreseeable future and would recommend it to colleagues.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

The simplicity of Zoom Workplace makes it ideal for workplace collaboration and video calling. The user interface is easy to navigate and well-designed and with the general public largely being familiar with how to use Zoom there isn't any barriers when inviting people to calls. I've never experienced any outage issues or major problems regarding access so reliability of Zoom is a big plus. There is also ease of access across the globe, making connecting with partners worldwide pain-free.

#### Cons

In some instances I've found Zoom to be a bit laggy or choppy, even if you maintain a strong internet connection with stable upload and download speeds. Originally I thought it was my internet service provider, but after validating the speeds I found it was just Zoom lagging especially during larger meetings. When it is a 1:1 meeting or smaller group I haven't encountered these issues, but the choppiness and lag is particularly prominent in larger meetings.

Joining meetings is quick, and the application performs well across desktop and mobile devices.

Sometimes the audio or video can glitch, especially if someone’s connection isn’t strong. There are also times when updates slow things down or cause minor bugs. I also feel like some features should be included in the base plan instead of being add-ons.

Zoom is useful for large online conferences and livestreams, and it works great for shorter meetings on the free plan. For longer calls though, you’ll likely need to upgrade to get the most out of it.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Smooth, modern UI with lots of great features available for free. It’s super easy to invite others, works well for groups, and the breakout rooms and chat features are especially helpful and intuitive.

#### Cons

Occasional security concerns like Zoom bombing can be an issue, and some useful features are locked behind paywalls which can be frustrating to work around. Audio during screen sharing can also be inconsistent at times and doesn’t always work smoothly.

It's been great! It has reminders to ask me if I want to use the note taker and the AI companion. It will remind me to do whatever I need. And now there's all the different apps and things that we can do inside of it. I run a mastermind and I wanted to try something new and funky and I tried about five other video call companies and none of them worked like Zoom.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Let's face it, this is the number one video call software. I've tried the other ones, and my guests do not like them. One of them only records the person who's talking, which makes it very difficult to go back later and have a decent video. Zoom does really good job with all the things: the AI notetaker, the summary that it creates, being able to have the recordings of the audio and the video. And then there's all the different things you can do during the call with screen sharing and sound sharing. There's filters to make us look better. They thought of everything at this point.

#### Cons

I'm just tired of zoom honestly. I would love to try something new to spice things up, and honestly I have. But I always come back because it just is the best.

Zoom has been a constant in my academic and professional life for nearly a decade. From virtual lectures during medical school to daily meetings and teaching sessions as a medical fellow, it’s consistently delivered reliable, high-quality video conferencing. The platform is intuitive, stable, and scalable—whether I’m meeting with two people or fifty. While the free version has time limits, the overall functionality and ease of use make it one of the most dependable tools I’ve worked with. I highly recommend it to anyone in healthcare, education, or remote work

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I’ve used Zoom for over 9 years from medical school lectures to professional meetings and teaching sessions. It’s incredibly stable, even with large groups. The video quality is excellent, and I’ve rarely encountered bugs or interruptions. I especially appreciate the ease of use no one struggles to join or navigate a call, even first-timers. File sharing and screen sharing work smoothly, and breakout rooms are perfect for small group discussions. -Great for basic use, but subscription is needed for longer meetings - Customer Support is Rarely needed, but help articles are useful - Ease of Use: Extremely user-friendly - Video Conferencing & Calls: High quality, stable, and reliable - Bugs and Issues: Minimal—rare - File Management: Screen sharing and file uploads work well

#### Cons

The biggest limitation is the 40-minute cap on meetings in the free version. It can be disruptive during longer sessions unless you upgrade. Also, while messaging features exist, I rarely use them ,they’re not as intuitive as the video tools.
