Has taken a lot of invested time to understand the system and get it implemented - Months when we thought it might be weeks, but now at a point where its working relatively smoothly. Too early to tell if we are making savings (compared to old system of employee input timesheets), but that wasn't the big intention for us. We wanted something that make our overall processes easier (for employees, reviewers and payroll), and early indications are this is a bit easier. Gives us confidence we are correctly paying our staff. #### Cons Would like CSV outputs to be a lot cleaner than they are for external analysis. The Palm / Fingerprint scanner is good, but not great. 1 or 2 times a week we are getting someone's time entry recorded against someone else (perhaps 0.5% of entries). Lots of tiny little bugs that can add up. The system is easy to use, and it is straightforward to make changes (and also undo things - which is important!). Clocking in and clocking out is easy, setting up new employees is straightfoward as well as updating their profiles. The team at Timecloud are also very helpful, responsive and solutions focused. The Geofencing works well, leave application is straightforward and our payroll provider finds the reports very useful. Timecloud also built a custom report for our provider. #### Cons The setup process took longer than anticipated (unsure if that was our issue!), and there were quite a few glitches along the way. But TimeCloud has better user interface, easier to setup and use, and more flexible to customise. I believe that, although you can get use to a certain software after a while, but a good software like TimeCloud will always have good user interface at first time use - on the other words, if a software can't make it clear and easy enough to use, why should I trust the development team that they are caring about customer? #### Reasons for switching to Timecloud We were actually using Onsite Connect, but unable to find from the list. It has provided in depth job costing reporting, has eliminated any manual timesheet entering by having the app available to staff to clock in and out at any time. It has given us greater visbility over employee hours, enabling us to manage lateness with available reports. It has greatly reduced our admin hours in processing payroll. #### Cons There has not been any negatives, the support team have been fantastic working out any implementation problems. #### Reasons for switching to Timecloud We had a fingerprint scanner that did not work half of the time, we always had issues with data not imprting, and if the workplace was shut when the employee finished their shift after hours they could not clock off. #### Vendor response Thank you, Fiona, for your feedback.
