Based on our experience, this company stalls downsizing requests to force auto-renewals, ignores formal disputes, and relies on aggressive automated collection tactics. When it sounds too good to be true...... App is useless, customer service is well below minimum standards. #### Cons If you are a practice owner considering this software, I highly recommend proceeding with extreme caution regarding their billing and auto-renewal practices. Months before our contract was set to renew, our practice explicitly initiated a request to downsize our subscription tier. We followed up multiple times, but their team provided vague responses and failed to finalize the modification. Then, shortly after the auto-renewal date passed, we were abruptly informed that because the deadline had lapsed, 'nothing could be done,' effectively trapping us at the higher, unneeded rate. When we sent formal written notices disputing the renewal and highlighting their failure to process our timely request, the company completely stopped communicating. We received zero response to our dispute. Instead of engaging to resolve the issue, their automated billing system began aggressively targeting our payment methods. Even after we explicitly revoked authorization, their system attempted to process charges for thousands of dollars over half a dozen times in a single day. They are quick and do whatever they can to help you solve your problem. The patient management and staff management is also pretty simple to maintain and teach others. #### Cons Creating reports is difficult. Even with training, it isn't an easy task and almost always requires their support people to step in and complete it for you. Certain tasks are extremely simple but also EXTREMELY time consumong. For example, you have to enter each staff members credentials, groups, etc one at a time which can take 30 mins wheb setting up a new staff member in the system. #### Reasons for switching to RethinkBH Much more condusive to our needs. A lot of your competitors are coming out with features that are built-in to their core product while ReThink keeps their focus on their integration partners. It meets all of our basic needs. They bring in with fancy features and options but the bells and whistles do not work when the rubber hits the road. Onboarding was great. The security is so good we often could not log in which is both a pro and a con. #### Cons Customer service and response is terrible. As mentioned onboarding is great. They drop you after that though. The lack of response you get from them will impact your ability to serve people and they do not factor that in to response times. Our company has waited 3-5 days for responses. The responses often do not fix the issue. Rethink in general is reliable and easy to use, allowing for quick updates in sessions for marking behaviors and skill responses. I have had some issues in the past in terms of proper saving of data, but in general it does what I need for my client in terms of documenting our sessions, and provides necessary resources for staff. I would appreciate the addition of more general information regarding what each response for a behavior or skill could be, such as a detailed section differentiating different prompts. It makes clear indications what sessions are scheduled or cancelled, and makes billing a clearly communicated detail. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 4/5 - Customer support: 4/5 - Functionality: 3/5 #### Pros My favorite part of Rethink is the way it provides quick opportunity to collect data. With the response options as just buttons to press to record them, it makes it very easy to mark while in a session. I appreciate the way it saves data even while I am logged out; I find this great customer support due to the unexpected nature of this job. Sometimes I will go a long time in between using my tablet in sessions, and the auto log out provides good data security while also not interrupting sessions by making users start over with data recording. #### Cons Some aspects of Rethink that I don't enjoy relate to it's in-app writing capabilities. Since it does not have an auto-capital letters function for the beginning of sentences, or any type of spell check that I've seen, I always write my notes on another app and copy it to Rethink. It also has a very unreliable highlighting function, in case I need to move sentences around in my notes or delete a lot at once. Often in app it will work once and then not again. I would greatly appreciate the introduction of functions like these to the app. Especially while using a mobile device (tablet) that usually has this capability, it causes delay to adjust to make the grammar correct in this way. Another albeit smaller issue is how the app syncs it's data. If my screen turns off while it's loading, it often comes back missing data and not saving everything I had recorded that day. It would be nice to have the ability to confirm the syncing of that sessions data and not worry about loss of information.
