About Agility

Agility by DMSI is a hybrid enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution that helps businesses in the construction industry to integrate their data and processes across departments and locations. The solution can either be deployed on-premise or hosted in the cloud.

Agility offers several features to users that help them to manage various business operations such as back-office accounting and procurement to delivery and distribution. Agility’s self-service customer portal allows buyers to check their own invoices, get pricing and submit orders while employees use a customized order entry screen that saves order details for major manufacturers and configurators.

Agility enables users to manage units of measurements, search inventory across branches and map single item code to product variations, including colors and lengths. Agility also tracks the equipment, labor and time required for each job, which allows them to give accurate quotes and timelines to customers.

Services are offered on a monthly subscription basis that includes support via phone, email and other online resources.

Agility makes accounting easier

It is by far a lot easier then the software we used before. It is definitely more user friendly.

Pros:

I like the report options. I pull A/R and A/P reports on a daily basis. It makes it easy for me to pull by customer and/ or projects for our customers.

Cons:

I wish there was a way to toggle easier thru the screens. For example I am working in Accounts Payable then have to open up a sales order.

Just a great tool when a person has "to orchestrate" a reconciliation of AP, AR and inventory in few steps and make sure all is "communicating" with each other and there are no loose ends. Great program. The more I use it, the more I like it.

Pros:

I use it everyday to reconcile AP vs inventory and is very user friendly and is very "jointed". All is very well integrated and with the "fast keys" I can access other information and have it all in my screen. Also use to reconcile AP with direct orders where we need to make sure the client received everything SO, make sure that we are "passing" the costs associated with that to our customer with our AP and make sure the inventory is accounted for. Very versatile tool. I love it.

Cons:

Nothing at all...It took me a little to learn it, but that's me...once I learned is fast, easy and very useful.

Ease of use by multi users, and tracking of orders though the process . Easy to navigate and track history

Cons:

Training new hires of the use of agility, each employee uses the system differently and makes it difficult to train

Pros:

Every person can use the system however way they'd like. It is very user-friendly and offers great tracking organization to keep tabs on everything that's running through the company.

Cons:

The only problem we've dealt specifically with this product has been when someone is a new-hire and don't have any previous knowledge, it requires training for a few days at least to get the person comfortable enough to make sure everything runs good.
