### Most mentioned pros

- CUBE helps save time on manual download and upload of datasets and allow internal stakeholders to drilldown into their expenses whenever they need to.
- Perfect tool for FP&A department of a mid size company as it enables you to drilldown to the leaf level information while maintaining the high level information the executive team is interested in viewing.
- Cube and its ability to structure and organize our data while still using excel has allowed us to streamline our budgeting/forecasting/and variance Analysis.

### Most mentioned cons

- Not having a robust headcount planning section within the system.
- Currently there is a lack of flexibility in the reporting in Excel.
- It's frustrating when a task that sometimes takes ten minutes can stretch to take two days because load times are pushing 18 hours and fail out.

My over experience has been pleasant I cannot complain. As systems all are growing due to technology changes it is nice to have a user friendly system.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 3/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Cube has been a terrific tool for the past 5 years. The reporting interface is very easy to use and most people will not have difficulty learning and using this softwRe

#### Cons

I would say the only thing is the data importing process only allows you to schedule it once a day. This would be nice is you could change or choose how many times you can schedule data to be imported.

Cube has saved us a ton of time at month-end for our reporting process. We now have much more time to analyze financials.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Cube was incredibly easy to implement in our org. Our customer success manager and the rest of the team were so transparent on how to not only set Cube up, but to really get the most out of it.

#### Cons

I think at the beginning there were a few features that we would have like to see that are now implemented. Just like our org, Cube is growing and they do an amazing job of listening to customers.

#### Reasons for choosing Cube

It was easier to implement and they were more hands on.

Really great, no drilldown is the biggest downside. Coming from a fortune 500 company with Hyperion to implementing cube has been pretty seamless.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Integration was seamless, the people are all from FP&A so great to work with and fully understand all questions. I am a former Hyperion user and find Cube to be friendlier in some ways.

#### Cons

There is no drilldown, I would love to be able to drill down by double clicking on revenue and have it list out all of the accounts that roll up to revenue, that way I dont have to manually enter them and would not miss any of the lower level accounts. It is also missing QTD calc. It would also be nice if a new GL account was created and it automatically mapped to the parent account rather than having to manually map new accounts each month.

#### Reasons for choosing Cube

Went with a different HR system, and wanted to keep using Intacct which Cube is partnered with. Also a great cost point and great product.

If you're forecasting and tracking KPIs in spreadsheets and its time to upgrade to a formal product, but you're hesitant to pull the trigger on a host of tools that require lengthy implementation cycles, limit your end users, or isn't flexible to encompass your business operations, you need to schedule a demo with Cube. It will help organize your existing chaos and scale as you continue to grow.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

It's Simple. Cube takes in your KPIs and other data, and connects to your accounting systems. Then, connect to Sheets or Excel, create your output mapping, and now you have a single source of truth you can manipulate without worrying if someone is going to hard code a cell and throw off downstream calculations. Cube will allow you to give your department leaders the ability to create their own scenarios and forecasts, track their budget to actuals, and see their own P&Ls, all within a spreadsheet.

#### Cons

Cube is a newer platform, and as such they're doing aggressive feature building. This means that some functionality has been impacted on occasion for a short period of time. Thankfully, their customer service teams are on top of the issues and able to support.

By far the best tool on the market for FP&A. Cube works by connecting existing spreadsheets & source systems into a powerful analytics hub which means faster insights for us. This makes it incredibly easy to automate, actualize and analyze all our reporting as well as collaborate with the team to build accurate forecasts. We save hours and headcount because of this tool. Having a single source of truth means we have been able to eliminate errors in our calculations.

Also, I love the time dimension element that really facilitates making sure the equity roll and balance sheet and cash flow calculations work correctly regardless of the time period you're looking at. This product was very thoughtfully built.

#### Cons

I think in the future there will be a SQL-like language that will facilitate analysis. Also, any forecasting or visualization capabilities would be a huge plus.

#### Pros

I really enjoy the ease of use when it comes to pushing and pulling data from excel as well as how easily that transfers over to Google sheets! Implementation of the software was very quick and it was a delight working with their team.

#### Cons

The only downsides that I have seen so far are some limitations when it comes to automatic data importing from Sage Intacct. We have a ton of lines of data and only being to review through cube on a summary level can be a bit of a burden sometimes

I can’t say enough good things about Cube. From their customer service, to flexibility of the software - it is outstanding. The ease of integration as well as support that you receive from their team, makes the transition very smooth and hassle free. Cube is very easy to use, its interface is clean, and operating it is intuitive. Cube makes it easy to maintain many accounts/dimensions and to map QBO COA to custom FP&A/Management presentations. Fetching and Publishing data is also very easy. We also very much appreciate the connectivity we have with the Cube team if there are ever instances where we require support or advice.

#### Cons

There isn't really anything that I dislike about using Cube. They are also very open to product feedback and suggestions.

With the seamless QBO integration, we can now present financial data faster to those that need it. As a small team, every minute counts, and Cube has saved a good few hours to focus on other important projects.

#### Cons

It can take time to learn how to properly build and edit the fields you need and the online resources could be better.

Overall, we’ve had a good experience with Cube. Their support & customer success teams have been tremendously helpful in remediating issues, discussing architecture options & troubleshooting issues.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Cube gave us a great amount of flexibility with how we could manipulate reporting from our ERP, Netsuite. It allowed us to leverage spreadsheets that incorporate easily into our modeling & budgeting, which was an advantage over some more rigid solutions.

#### Cons

Our biggest pain points originate from data ingestion between our ERP system & Cube’s staging database. Our team has an unusually high number of monthly transactions so we don’t fit into the average customer's needs for syncing & transaction volume. There’s additional review required post sync between Cube & other systems to ensure accurate reporting. I.e. Formulas can have delayed calculations after syncing & not produce desired results initially

Ease of use is excellent and second only to the customer support you receive. Account managers have been extremely helpful. Ease of use, interface is very intuitive to any power user of Excel/G-Sheets

#### Pros

Cube is quite fast to get up and running and offers a lot of flexibility with aggregating multiple data sources thanks to integrations with Excel and Google Sheets. Allows for easy template creation to streamline routine financial reporting. Customer support is usually quite responsive and helpful.

#### Cons

We could never get an automatic data connection with NetSuite working, so it is always a manual upload process each month. Missing certain features like a headcount planning module or robust forecasting capabilities in order to be an effective end-to-end FP&A platform for larger companies at scale.
