I did experience problems with account management over several divisions. . Cons: Found that their systems did not provide confirmation of services requested or rendered. Then they did away with that and made it all web-based. That introduced all sorts of problems and complications. However, since then, they seem to have worked out the bugs in the web interface and the "Device Hub" printer application. It stores addresses of my customers and vendors so it is easy to pull up someone's address without having to re-enter everything every time. I like that it is reasonably affordable for a small business like mine. Cons: The interface is confusing and takes a long time to get accustomed to how it works and how to accomplish anything. Reasons for choosing PitneyShip It was less expensive than the other options. Reasons for switching to PitneyShip Stamps.com was too expensive. I don't do a lot of mailing these days, so it's hard to justify paying way more for shipping software than what it would cost to just buy stamps. It worked great until the most recent upgrade. Tech Support has been largely useless concerning the most recent issues. You can send First Class packages, Priority mail, express mail, parcel post and first class letters with the tool. With the latest upgrade I am able to do everything but send first class letters. It is cost effective compared to other online postage tools. Cons: With the introduction of DeviceHub to the tool, a software necessary to print envelopes and stamp sheets, the software no longer works for Address and Postage directly printed on envelopes, and likely stamp sheets. DeviceHub is a local software that acts as a gateway to your printer. I am actively looking for an alternative. Reasons for choosing PitneyShip at the time it was more cost effective for my needs.
