### Secondary ratings

- 4 stars: 6,471 reviews (34%)
- 3 stars: 1,534 reviews (8%)
- 2 stars: 264 reviews (1%)
- 1 star: 166 reviews (1%)

### Most mentioned pros

- The ability to centralize all interactions, track communication histories, and customize pipelines to fit complex relationship models is incredibly powerful.
- The most impressive aspect is the predictive power of its AI driven insights, which provides clear visibility into pipeline health and ensures that no high value lead is overlooked, making it a powerhouse for teams that prioritize data driven growth
- It is a robust and reliable solution that significantly enhances sales tracking, customer relationship management, and operational transparency. While there is a learning curve and upfront investment, the long-term benefits in terms of efficiency, scalability, and data-driven decision-making make it a worthwhile platform for organizations looking to mature their sales processes.

### Most mentioned cons

- It’s not the most intuitive system when you first start using it, and setup can take a fair bit of time and effort to get right. If it’s not managed well from an admin perspective, the interface can also become cluttered with too many fields and workflows.
- It has many times where the data from the site and the input from the UX is not fluid and creates lag or extraneous prompts.
- That said, there are some limitations around formula fields and complex calculations. When referencing other formula fields or building longer logic scripts, the constraints can make certain metrics difficult to implement directly in Salesforce, requiring some calculations to be handled outside the system.

Overall, Salesforce Sales Cloud is a powerful and reliable engine that drastically improves sales pipeline visibility, workflow automation, and cross-team alignment. It excels as a single source of truth for growing sales organizations. However, the initial setup can be complex, and the total cost of ownership escalates quickly with scale. It is best suited for organizations willing to invest in dedicated administration to unlock its full value

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Customization and Scalability: You can tailor nearly everything—from custom objects and stage fields to automated logic via Salesforce Flow—allowing it to bend to unique business requirements rather than forcing a rigid workflow.

#### Cons

What I liked best: The sheer level of customization and visibility Salesforce Sales Cloud provides is unmatched. Being able to build tailored pipeline stages, set up complex automation through Flows, and view custom real-time dashboards gives leadership complete clarity on where deals stand. The AppExchange ecosystem is also a massive win, allowing us to connect almost any third-party marketing or service tool seamlessly.

Overall it’s a fantastic platform and makes sense why it is considered cream of the crop. I see the flexibility and power behind it but it is also to be understood that the flexibility and power does come with a real price on budget and time.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

What I like most about Salesforce Sales Cloud is the raw power and ability of the system. Every data point I enter can be reported on, every customization i would want to build out can be done with enough time, usage is effective for ics to managers and above.

#### Cons

What I like least about it is two things. One thing is the cost and upkeep for building out customizations for an org - it isn’t an easy, quick process to do light customization although the power is certainly there. The other is sometimes just ease of use. UI can be difficult to navigate especially org by org using and learn the small tweaks every different org has.

### An excellent Customer Relationship Management platform

- Reviewer: Bruno M.
- Verified reviewer: Yes

Overall, I had a positive experience using Salesforce software. Salesforce helped us to attract new clients from different industries. For this reason, I recommend this CRM program to every professional in the field of Sales and Marketing who wants to develop their business.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I used Salesforce as an IT Marketing Intern for Traveledex. It helped me to establish relationships with our company’s customers. The CRM software has many advantages for this purpose, but some minor disadvantages as well. Firstly, it offers centralised customer information, including contact details, communication history, and sales opportunities. I like this feature because it visually represents sales improvement opportunities. Indeed, Salesforce helps the whole sales team, including me, to prospect new customers, manage the leads, control the whole sales pipeline, and maintain relationships with existing partners. Moreover, it is possible to organise these leads in terms of websites, social media, and email marketing.

#### Cons

However, since I am using this software, I noticed several disadvantages and limitations. Firstly, Salesforce might be expensive for some companies, especially small business owners or start-up organisations. Secondly, it is not easy to customise Salesforce according to the specific needs of the organisation. Indeed, this process requires professional assistance from specialists in the field of CRM software. Another disadvantage is that it might be challenging for new employees to learn how to use this software. Since Salesforce offers many functions and features, such companies usually provide training to new employees. This way, they teach them to work with data, navigate the software, use the dashboard, and employ visual tools and automation processes. Salesforce demands experienced and well-trained staff. Finally, the software requires a specialist who can control and maintain the system and monitor the security of the data.

Salesforce Sales Cloud is a premier solution for any organization looking to scale, offering a User Interface that is both sleek and highly functional once tailored to your specific needs. The Lightning Experience makes navigating complex customer data surprisingly fluid, with drag and drop custom pages that keep the most important insights front and center. While the system is vast, the Customer Support ecosystem is exceptional; between the highly responsive community forums and the gamified learning of Trailhead, you are never truly stuck. Overall, my experience has been one of total empowerment, as the platform transforms messy data into a clear, actionable roadmap for growth, making it an indispensable partner for a high performing sales team

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Salesforce Sales Cloud remains the gold standard for CRM scalability, offering an unrivaled level of customization that allows you to build a workspace tailored specifically to complex business workflows. While the initial setup and "add-on" pricing structure present a steep learning curve and significant investment, the platform’s strength lies in its seamless communication integrations particularly with Slack and its robust Lightning App Builder for personalized page management. The most impressive aspect is the predictive power of its AI driven insights, which provides clear visibility into pipeline health and ensures that no high value lead is overlooked, making it a powerhouse for teams that prioritize data driven growth

#### Cons

The main drawbacks are the high total cost of ownership and the steep learning curve, as essential features often require expensive add-ons and a dedicated administrator to manage the complex setup. Despite the modern UI, the platform can still feel cluttered and unintuitive, requiring significant training for new users to navigate daily tasks efficiently.

I used the platform every day for 2 years, managing a huge team of covid contact tracers under DPH funding for Massachusetts. I was able to learn the program after a few trainings and with continued learning and support. It was easy to use for someone who had never used it before.

#### Ratings breakdown

#### Pros

I used this platform from 2020-2022 when overseeing the DPH funding for covid contact tracing and community support. The communication channels offered a seamless opportunity to collaborate among the large team in Massachusetts, and user interface is critical for ease of use with multiple employees logging in and out throughout projects. I was able to be on the platform all day, often utilizing customer support as systems updated often.

#### Cons

I recall utilizing customer support often, as sometimes the system would not load, not update or require us to log off and back on often. However, I will say that at the end of the day, the system allowed us seamless communication, clients data, staff workflows were easy to generate and notes were always secured and easy to access.

My overall experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud has been positive. It provides strong end-to-end visibility into customer information and the entire sales lifecycle, which makes it easy to track activity from initial contact through close. I also value its ability to integrate with other applications and systems, enabling more streamlined workflows across tools. The reporting and dashboard functionality is particularly powerful—highly customizable and flexible enough to support a wide range of business metrics and analysis needs. That said, there are some limitations around formula fields and complex calculations. When referencing other formula fields or building longer logic scripts, the constraints can make certain metrics difficult to implement directly in Salesforce, requiring some calculations to be handled outside the system. Overall, however, it is a robust and scalable platform that effectively supports sales operations and reporting.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

- Keep track of all the customer information and sales motion from start to finish - Ability to integrate with other apps or programs - Ability to generate report and dashboard and highly customizable

#### Cons

Unable to use formula if the referencing field is also formulated, or the formula / script gets really long, so some metrics have to be calculated outside of Salesforce

Salesforce Sales Cloud is the enterprise standard for CRM—versatile, AI-powered, and fully customizable. While it demands investment in both cost and configuration, it offers unmatched visibility, automation, and control across the entire sales lifecycle.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Salesforce Sales Cloud is one of the world’s most widely adopted CRM platforms, purpose-built to help sales teams manage leads, close deals faster, forecast revenue accurately, and drive predictable growth. With deep customization capabilities, AI-driven insights, and seamless integration across the Salesforce ecosystem, Sales Cloud is the go-to solution for organizations looking to modernize and scale their sales operations.

#### Cons

Cost Structure: Pricing can grow quickly with added features, custom objects, and premium support. Total cost of ownership may exceed simpler CRMs. Setup & Customization Complexity: Powerful, but not always plug-and-play. Real value comes with proper architecture, admin support, or a Salesforce partner. It has a complete integration of marketing, e-commerce, and customer service, making my work more flexible. Its functions are necessary to adapt them to my daily work.

Sales force is a fundamental part of my daily routine and the genesis engineering behind this software helps make my daily tasks easy. I especially love the user interface and logic-based organization.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Sales force is the top of the industry for obvious reasons. It helps track sales, leads and opportunities in clear, written and visual metrics.

#### Cons

Salesforce stores A LOT of information. I do not like large packets of information like Account or opportunities can all be deleted with a signal Delete so easily. Accidents can happen and I wish information was stored more securely. On the flip side of that, my other complaint about sales force is the Cache it requires and stores. I am often filling out 20+ cases/opportunities/accounts each day and each one is different, but Salesforce saves the information and suggests it for the next account. This feature is really helpful on my personal matters, but very annoying when it is applied to sales force. I am continually clearing my cache.

Overall, Sales Clouds meets the needs of our company at a great price. The setup of a sales process is seamless. Debugging and identifying bugs is simple with the logs. Very happy with the product.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5

- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

My favorite thing about Salesforce Sales Cloud is the ability to customize it to the most intricate sales processes. Customer service is great - very responsive and reach out promptly. The setup is fairly easy and I love the user interface of the lightning experience.

#### Cons

Some aspects of Salesforce aren't so customizable like account plans, but I'd like to think with future updates there will be more wiggle room. I'd love if the custom buttons allowed a small popup window in the screen like the options on the creation page suggests it does. It would also be nice to be able to use dynamic url filters on dashboards

#### Pros

Salesforce is the most powerful CRM in the world. I can't believe the levels of customization, configuration, automation, and now AI. If you set this up right, you can manage your entire business with Salesforce and Salesforce App Exchange Products.

#### Cons

I often hear from Salesforce users that the UI design is rather bland. However, when I use Salesforce App Exchange apps- they are often customized and have really sleek interfaces. I recently switched my view to Salesforce Lightning for Sales Cloud and that is definitely an improvement.
