To say that I was disappointed is a gross understatement. There are so many flaws in this software, I'm surprised they haven't yet been sued under fit for purpose laws. I definitely recommend staying away from this software and if you do have to use it, beware. The customer service department are available most of the time but not always competent. Cons: They guys who wrote it think they are cool so they write really unprofessional familiarity messages that are really desperate. The software is awkward, cumbersome and I don't trust the outcomes. It dangerously empowers unqualified users to do their own tax returns wrongly and invites HMRC to investigate them. It empowers unqualified users to process their own payroll wrongly meaning that they miss out on allowances that are available through qualified accountants. The software isn't capable of carrying out simple basic level bookkeeping tasks and the customer services department dream up complicated workarounds rather than getting the issues fixed. It is a great product for small businesses. I also like that is uses the cloud. Cons: The negative about FreeAgent is that ist is based in the UK and only offers free access if you have a bank in the UK. It also does not have tiered pricing like Quickbooks offers.
