However, they have not put much work into making it actually functional. The auto tracking for mileage never works, it constantly kicks you out of the software when trying to create estimates or invoices, I can’t seem to figure out how to send a functional receipt automatically to your customers have a copy, and good luck trying to get any support on the phone. All they want to do is push you a bunch of unrelated and semi functional articles to read that point you to different articles to read so that you spend 12 hours trying to fix a problem that could be fixed in five minutes if somebody would just answer the phone. Tried to leave this same review on the QB app just now and go figure, that function is not responding in the app so the developers can’t read it. Hahaha. Features for the self-employed version are however limited, lacking customisation (e.g. expense categories etc) and poorly adaptable to different kinds of businesses. The sync functionality with bank is very disappointing. There is no way to reliably set up what is relevant and how to record different suppliers, no chance to have categories remembered, even when defining defaults. It is intuitive and the user interface is friendly to our first-time users as well as our most experienced accountants. #### Cons Certain tasks, especially related to taxes and certain filing issues are hidden behind multiple levels of menus. For overall usage, this makes sense, but it does require specific knowledge of what you're looking for to find it. ---
