Billing and Accounting takes 1/2 the time. Spend limits and Wrong fuel notifications are wonderful and a great additional from our previous fleet card. Coast has great integrations as well like Geotab. Cons: unable to tap card, Driver at some stations must go into store to purchase and unable to use at the pump. I believe this is a station policy. We're saving money, and recordkeeping is unfathomably easier. Everyone has a card tailored to their needs. The guys in the field get a gas/maintenance card, and the office staff get an expense card. In a pinch, someone can even log out and lend their physical card to another user and we still know who made what purchases for what vehicles. As much as I hate having people download YET ANOTHER APP, it's worth it. And people who are opposed to the app can use the SMS method. Customer service is great (for comparison, it's been over 2 months and I've had to file TWO BBB complaints about our previous card not closing our account and still charging us fees), setup was easy and intuitive, I can make tweaks instantly, and the website is easy to navigate. Statements are sent in spreadsheet form (I think you can choose PDF), so I don't even have to convert them. Expense tracking, expenses per vehicle, customization, individual permissions, vastly reduced fees compared to our previous card, and receipt and memo capture by the users. Any user can use any card for any vehicle without messing up record-keeping! Cons: The main con is logging in - and having to teach people how to log in. A few guys have had a lot of trouble with it. I've had to drive over to a gas station to help a particularly difficult convert. If they don't already have one, Coast should make a tutorial video for card users. I actually once left my phone at Publix bc I forgot to log in until I was at the register, then just put it down... But the upside is the people with fewer restrictions don't have to keep their cards locked up - they won't work unless they're logged in. I have it set so that it logs out every night. I could change that, but I feel more comfortable that it makes fraudulent purchases harder.
