Simply great! It helps me automate a lot of the manual and repetitive tasks like sending, emails, LinkedIn messages and more. Awesome to be able to track everything in one app and access business intelligence and contact data like phone and email.

Apollo.i has enabled the distributions of messages for our targeted marketing campaigns. The Apollo.io workflows enable the automated nurturing of leads and the ability to track companies and individuals engaging with content and the corporate website enables lead scoring.

The ability to define ideal customer profiles based on metrics (company size, company revenue, geographic location, industry) and quickly create targeted campaigns and workflows.

Cons:

The platform is extremely powerful and there is a slight learning curve to understand the dependencies and requirement to setup workflows and campaigns. However, this is a one-time ramp up challenge that is quickly overcome.

Apollo.io offers contact identification with it's native contacts database. I was paying for a separate third-party contacts platform that was integrated into Insightly. I was able to replace both with Apollo.io.

What I like most about Apollo.io is how powerful and easy it is to use for prospecting and outbound sales. The platform combines a large, accurate database with strong filtering options, which makes it simple to quickly build highly targeted lead lists. I also really value the all-in-one functionality—being able to find contacts, verify emails, and manage outreach in one system saves a lot of time and reduces the need for multiple tools. The Chrome extension is especially useful for quickly pulling verified contact data from LinkedIn in real time, which helps streamline daily prospecting workflows.

Cons:

The main downside I’ve noticed with Apollo.io is that while the database is large, data accuracy can sometimes be inconsistent depending on the industry or role. That means you occasionally need to spend extra time verifying contacts or cleaning lists to ensure deliverability. Super easy to use data enrichment tool

Apollo has been a game changer for me. It's incredibly useful and super simple to use. I mainly rely on it to get prospect data into the CRM, which makes sequencing so much easier. I love that they have a Chrome extension that sits right on your screen, so you can seamlessly use it inside LinkedIn. It saves so much time and makes the process feel effortless. If I had to mention one thing that could be better, it's that when Apollo can't find a valid email for a prospect, you can't push them to the CRM, which can be a little frustrating. Overall, though, it's been an amazing tool that has made my workflow so much smoother and more efficient.

Apollo is incredibly useful and super simple to use, I mainly use it for getting prospect data into the CRM to help with sequencing. It's also brilliant that they have a chrome extension that sits on your screen so you can easily use it inside Linkedin.

Cons:

My only con is that if it cannot find a valid email for a prospect then you aren't able to push them to the CRM.

My experience was very bad with Apollo as they came up with a new credit usage system but didn't pass the benefits to us as we were billing annually. Moreover, they charge exorbitant credits for API calls and don't even try to not charge for duplicate data.

The platform is really great, very easy to navigate and user friendly. Finding data is easy and anyone, literally anyone, can do it.

Cons:

The data quality is not that great and somehow they still haven't been able to decide the pricing and credits usage. It's very frustrating to see them change credits usage so often and they don't pass on the benefits of new features and changes to users who have billed annually.

Disappointing Phone Data & Poor Customer Service

I had high expectations for Apollo.io, but it has been disappointing. The phone data is unreliable, and without accurate contact information, the platform loses much of its value. On top of that, customer service is non-existent, making it difficult to resolve issues. While the pricing is reasonable, you ultimately don’t get what you pay for. I wouldn’t recommend it for those who need quality phone numbers for outreach.

Cons:

The phone numbers are highly inaccurate, and most of the ones provided are just generic corporate lines that I could easily find on Google. Customer service is also terrible—completely unresponsive, and I’ve been waiting over a week for a simple answer.

Cons:

Nothing much, sometimes the Apollo LinkedIn plugin behaves a little weird. Rest is definitely one of the most affordable database tools I have used after ZoomInfo.

Apollo is good for enrichment but lacks maturity for sales engagement

We use it for enrichment and it does this well. If it could guide people through its process better, and be very clear about the various different options it provides eg. Enrichment, Engagement, Conversations - and these were given to Admins to either turn on or off for users, it would be a lot easier to manage.

Cons:

It's not intuitive and is hard for early users to navigate. It's also trying to be a CRM and a Sales Engagement tool. It is hard to know what to do when starting up.

I like that you can build very specific lead list with minimum effort and the user interface is simple to use. The learning curve is shorter because of all the videos and live help they offer. I think its a great tool for sales management and is definitely a good value for the money! It doesnt take long to get setup and is very secure.

Cons:

My biggest dislike or should i say learning curve was all the filters but a quick live meeting answered those questions for me.
