          Building Better Production Foundations with dynamxMFG

          We’ve been using dynamxMFG for around one month and are still in the implementation phase, but our experience so far has been extremely positive. The delivery and support teams have been outstanding. Implementation of an MRP system can be a daunting process, but their responsiveness, knowledge, and willingness to understand how our production works has made a huge difference. We’ve felt supported at every stage, with clear guidance and fast answers whenever we’ve had questions. From a system perspective, dynamxMFG is very user-friendly, which is critical when you’re introducing new processes across a production environment. The layout and workflows make sense, and it’s clear the system has been designed with real manufacturing operations in mind. Even at this early stage, we can see that dynamxMFG is exactly what we need to move our production forward, improving visibility, helping us plan more effectively, and creating better flow through the business. We’re confident it’s going to play a key role in making our operations more efficient as we continue to roll it out.

          We picked the system over competitors for its ease of use, great customer support and friendly personable delivery team. So far we have found the system to be really intuitive and support team great and always reachable if we've had any issues.

          One of the biggest benefits is the live view of production. Having immediate insight into work orders, progress, bottlenecks, and downtime allows issues to be identified and resolved before they escalate.
          Cons:
          While core functionality is intuitive, some of the deeper reporting and analytics features take time to fully explore and utilise — though the payoff is worth it.

          Unintuitive and Complicated to use.

          I find this system not intuitive and awkward to use. I often spend more time trying to get a job done through the system than it actually takes me to pick the parts and complete a job. I find the Tracking system for each task too over-the-top for what we do.

          Pros:
          The mobile picking screen is useful, but not reliable. There is usually a quick response from the support email. I can see and understand how the system is supposed to help, but it isn't there yet.
          Cons:
          The inventory site is not intuitive and there are complicated work arounds for issues, e.g. stock is adjusted through the Locations tab, not the Stock tab. Because it is overly complicated, the system is bypassed frequently to get work done. The Location screen doesn't show serial numbers, and each item is on a separate line meaning you have to count them on the screen or click on the Serial Number button to find an the specific part you are looking for.

          Effective once comfortable with the UI

          Was a steep learning curve at start but now it is much easier to plan and manage work. I use the modules much more than the touch screen interface as this feel more user friendly to me

          don't find the different interfaces very intuitive to use. I took a while for my staff to get used to.

          It was a quick start up process, the interaction with technical people was daily where needed. Compared to other solutions the value for money and ease of use is very good.
          Cons:
          Out the box reports need some work for them to be relevant for us. A few user interface issues that make things long winded that need addressing.

          Overall it has been helpful in some ways, but I still think it has a long way to go to become software I would describe as an enjoyable user experience. When we have issues we do always get an initial response straight away that the problem is being worked on/ investigated, but it can takes months to get a resolution and we still have many outstanding issues.

          It shows stock levels without having to go downstairs and check. I can see when we have parts on order.
          Cons:
          Its not intuitive at all to use, for example to manually adjust stock levels you need to go to 'locations' not 'stock'. Often it takes longer to figure out how to complete the task in TCPro, than the actual task takes to perform. It has also 'crashed' many times while we have been using it, and we have been unable to do any work using it until its back up and running.

          We like the fact that we were going to be able to control our inventry better and allow full tracebility through out the whole build process.
          Cons:
          Seams a bit clucky and some of the search facilities could be better for finding stock, but these are being written into the software to suit our business.
