Good - Administrative set up was not as intuitive as expected. Worked through this with representative, which did help in learning the workflow. As mentioned, there is a library of Guides however it does help for Administrators to go through an actual step through rather than be directed to the guides. IDD staff continue to gain workflow experience and all the acknowledgments that need to be made (PA’s, etc). Looking forward to learning much more detail in overall workflows.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 3/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 3/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Excited about a product that is specific to the IDD services - helping IDD staff with efficiencies so that the focus is on the individual client and services. We are currently using the Therap State provided functionality but are contracted for the GA State Bundle with Incentive. Looking forward to gaining more detailed knowledge regarding incentivized functionality and system workflow. Have already connected with some long time customers here at the conference.

#### Cons

Support style - Therap contacts sometimes respond to request for assistance and direct questions by referring user back to finding guides and while it is important for us to utilize all the guides available it is not always the most efficient way to assist us to move forward when quick system functionality help is needed (especially for new system users). Hands on for new users is a great way to assure system understanding and adoption of functionality. Therap support know the system well - would recommend greater time is spent with new customers overall.

#### Reasons for switching to Therap

State offered replacement for IDD Connect, specific to IDD services, greater functionality to support care of our individuals served

Proficiency with Therap I consider myself proficient in using the Therap system and have developed a good understanding of its various functions through my professional experience. I am comfortable navigating the system and utilizing its different modules to complete required documentation, review individual information, and perform routine administrative and program-related responsibilities. My experience with Therap includes entering and reviewing documentation, accessing individual records, monitoring service-related information, reviewing reports, and ensuring that required information is completed accurately and within established timeframes. I understand the importance of maintaining accurate and consistent documentation, particularly because information entered into Therap may be used for service verification, billing, compliance, quality assurance, and program monitoring purposes. I am also comfortable identifying documentation discrepancies, reviewing information for completeness, and following established procedures to address errors or missing information. My familiarity with the system allows me to navigate Therap efficiently and complete assigned responsibilities with minimal assistance. Overall, I would describe my Therap experience as proficient. I have a strong working knowledge of the system and can independently perform many of the functions required for my role. At the same time, I remain open to additional training, particularly on advanced features, specialized modules, and organization-specific processes that can further strengthen my knowledge and effectiveness when using Therap.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

From the Billing Training Roadmap: Processes, Procedures, and Requirements, I learned the importance of completing billing-related responsibilities accurately, consistently, and within the required timeframes. The training provided me with a better understanding of the overall billing process, including the documentation and procedures necessary to support accurate billing. I learned how important it is to ensure that all required documentation is complete, accurate, and consistent with the services provided. This includes reviewing service records, verifying dates and times, ensuring required signatures are obtained, and identifying and correcting missing or inaccurate information before submission. The training also helped me understand the importance of following established billing procedures and meeting submission deadlines. Delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate documentation can affect the billing process and the overall operations of the program. Additionally, I learned about compliance requirements and the importance of maintaining accurate records that reflect the services actually provided. I gained a better understanding of common billing errors, how to identify them, and the appropriate steps to correct or prevent them. Overall, the Billing Training Roadmap strengthened my understanding of billing procedures, documentation requirements, compliance expectations, accuracy, accountability, and timely submission. I will apply the knowledge gained from this training to ensure that my billing responsibilities are completed correctly and in accordance with organizational policies and requirements.

#### Cons

Limited Use of Therap Simulation During Training One area that could be improved in the training is the use of Therap simulations when teaching the different topics and procedures. Although the instructor explained the topics and provided information about the required processes, there was limited hands-on demonstration or simulation within the Therap system. Using Therap simulations during the training would provide participants with an opportunity to see how the information being taught is applied in an actual system environment. For example, the instructor could demonstrate each process step by step, show where information should be entered, explain how documentation should be completed, and identify common errors that staff should avoid. Incorporating hands-on Therap simulations would also allow trainees to practice completing tasks while receiving guidance and feedback from the instructor. This approach could make the training more interactive and help participants become more comfortable navigating Therap before they are expected to complete these responsibilities independently. Overall, combining verbal instruction with practical Therap simulations would strengthen the training experience. It would help reinforce the topics being discussed, improve understanding of the required procedures, reduce documentation and billing errors, and better prepare participants to perform their responsibilities accurately and confidently.

Overall my experience with her has been a positive one. I've been using this software at two different companies for the last 5+ years and have had very little problems with it. I love that you're not required to update your password every three months like you are on so many other platforms of that we use within our company.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 3/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Therap!!! I just don't know what we would do without this platform in my field of work. Therap is user-friendly for achieving daily proper documentation, when working with individuals with intellectual & physical disabilities. The state requires that we document & chart every medication that we administer, including something as simple as Tylenol. Therap is also where we document & submit incident reports, vitals, intake & illumination & so many other important details that are detrimental to the health of our clients. Exactly what you are required to chart/document is person-centered based on the clients plans & protocols. We learn early on as Direct support professionals, that if you do not document it, it never happened. I cannot think of many improvements that need to be made to be made to Therap, because honestly, it's the only software I've ever used in my field & it is extremely user-friendly. I've worked with peers that have been in this field for 40+ years and everything used to be done on paper. However, they were able to learn to navigate Therap, like it was second nature. I cannot even estimate how often I refer back to my documentation on Therap during an average work week but it is dozens of times. This is where we log everything. Without Therap, we would be in a world of her when it comes time to re-certify for state & county licensing.

#### Cons

As a user, you can login & see everyone else's documentation "at a glance." However, if you need to specifically look at your own documentation, you have to use the "search engine."I wish therap listed everyone's documentation, newest to oldest & that includes your own as well.
